    Pros +

    • The staff are super friendly and courteous. The rooms are extremely clean and full of amenitiesThe location is perfect to teach different tourist areas.
    • The student on Reception, Inès, was absolutely exceptional and bent over backwards to help me. I booked for the wrong night by accident, I was late, hungry, stressed after getting stuck in awful traffic and tired but she couldn't have been nicer, more calm, or more accommodating. She cancelled my wrong booking (even though it was beyond the free cancellation period) and helped me get a new booking with Booking.com. Then I messed up my booking again but she sorted that out too. I had also forgotten my phone charger and again she found me one. After all this I needed a cork screw for the wine I had in my bag and she offered me that too. So she was just amazing. As for the room, it was spacious, pristine clean, the bed was comfy but not too hard, the toiletries were quality Rituals ones, it was quiet, the curtains blocked out morning light - all just perfect. The standard rooms have a separate toilet to the bathroom which is quite nice too. It's ideal for people catching the ferry from Saint Malo to Portsmouth as it only takes about 30mins from the hotel to the port. I will definitely book there again.
    • We have stayed here several times as we find the location good.

    Cons -

    • The hotel was very well located with plenty of restaurant options, a bowling alley and a gas station. If you stay there, you can't ever miss out on anything.
    • The breakfast was not as good as on previous visits.
    • We didn’t like the price they charged for travelling with pets, €20 per pet. We have two.

Quiet, well situated, clean and friendly receptionists.

The breakfast was cold, they had a small selection of pastries along with scrambled egg and cold bacon.

We didn’t like the price they charged for travelling with pets, €20 per pet. We have two.

Very easy property to spend a night within easy reach of St Malo ferry port. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

In an industrial zone, so not very picturesque, but nonetheless we found it to be a better stay than expected. I would use it again.

Didnt have breakfast as we had to leave early.Bed was small but was quiet which was great.

    The beds were too small.

Convenient stopover for the St Malo ferry port. Very comfortable bed. Restaurants within close proximity.

    Breakfast was disappointing

    7PeacePosted on: 9-13-2024

The bed was really comfortable. They gave us a room with green views (a tree with leaves is in front) so it felt really cozy.

Awful breakfast even though it's France. Super negatively suprised. High caloric and cheap. No veggies, nothing healthy.

This is good value for an overnight stay. Breakfast was ok and the coffee was really good. I had a good night’s sleep. The room was an ok size but a little spartan. Bathroom and shower good.

A larger bedside shelf or, even better, a proper bedside table would be good. Major fault was the toilet was too small making it difficult to get in and out.

    Nice large room and clean

    No bar or coffee shop

    8GagneriePosted on: 7-9-2024

Great location to suit our purpose. Clean, with tea/coffee in our room.

We would have appreciated ceramic cups instead of the really tiny paper espresso ones

    9MikePosted on: 6-30-2024

Great location, very friendly staff, no dinner restaurant but walkable to places nearby.

    8VivienPosted on: 3-14-2024

Location suited our needs. Bathroom was good with a spacious, practical, walk in shower.Buffet breakfast was good. Receptionist was really helpful.

Room could have been bigger. Found really small bedside shelf quite useless! Difficult to access clothes rail.

    8GagneriePosted on: 11-8-2023

    clealiness and location

no tea/coffee in room, we had to ask for extra pillow, no bar.

    7JoPosted on: 10-23-2023

It was located between two places we wanted to visit - Rennes and St Malo. Reception and cleaning staff were pleasant. Rooms were clean. There are two franchise restaurants in walking distance (three if you count McDonalds!) so you can get food without driving. The karaoke bar just round the corner where we watched rugby - manager/staff were really welcoming.

Breakfast very basic and no one about to ask for more when items ran out. There is no bar facility and vending machine empty.

    9RochellePosted on: 10-1-2023

Very clean, fresh and simple room - perfect for a one night stay. Bed is really comfortable, bathroom is nice with a large shower and beautiful Rituals shower gel as well as little mini conditioner and body lotion. Buffet style breakfast was lovely and had lots to choose from. Staff were friendly. We would definitely stay again :)

    Well located, clean and safe

Se restaurants around not really friendly

    9VivienPosted on: 9-21-2023

The beds were extremely comfy and we slept really well. Nice large room, air conditioned and well equipped. Good breakfast and easy parking.

Would have been nice to have a bar and a swimming pool!

    7ManonPosted on: 8-18-2023

Very small compact room. However the bed was very comfortable. We arrived towards the end of the day and needed to get dinner, there was not much around and would have been better off to drive back into town center Rennes, I think if you drive through the area better check in later and have a greater choie of restaurants. Breakfast was ok, one thing we notice is that the scrambled eggs are a little runny and bacon under cooked for me. But you do have what you need to start the day.

When we inquired about restaurants, the young lady at the desk was not much aware of the restaurants or didn't really have an opinion on them. Further out of Rennes then expected
