Tallink Express Hotel

The hotel itself was in a good location with good staff.

The lack of air conditioning device.There was a fan but wasn't enough.We had to keep the window open but the sound of cars was annoying.The parking was expensive and they didn't let to the parking before payment was done although we were ready to pay. We didn't like this behavior of parking.

The vent system is blowing cold air 24/7 and can not be turned on or off, not even by staff.Sound also travels through the vents so you won't hear any noise from next door rooms or the hallway but from whatever room is down the vent.

Good location, reasonable sized room, could be bigger.

Included breakfast buffet was extensive, but prepared dishes were not very good. Even the eggs had a strange taste to it.

I had to change room key 3 times. And at morning did not get back in hottel as key was not working

Wonderful breakfast experience.

The rooms are incredibly tiny. We never got a crib for our 2 year old and even if we did, there was no room for it. Just enough room for luggage and our stroller, and that was too tight to walk around. The room we got was unacceptable for a family of 4.

Location is great if you want to take a ferry. Airport can be reached by bus/tram. In walking distance to historic city centre.

Got a room with outdated shower door, unhinged, moldy, leaking, and a smelly drain

Location was good and a close walk to the centre and bus/tram nearby (5 mins walk). Breakfast very good and plentiful.

Room was hot and sofa bed in family room uncomfortable.

No air conditioning, but cannot sleep with open window - very nosy street.Rooms very small, no place even to put stuff, all the place is taken by beds.Not for a long stay.

I like room and location.

Staff met me at the reception with angry face, no smile, almost rude conversation. This, probably, because when I've arrived to reception the girl was talking to the security guy, and I interrupted their conversation.

Location was convenien for me - if you are traveling from Helsinki to Tallinn by car, on a ferry, and need to drive further on the next day - it;s a convinient overnight stay. There is a cheap publick parking nearby (6.5 euro per 24h).Room is super-simple, but clean.

It was a bit hot during the night, though I did not look for AC, how is it set. Nothing else to say, as we just slept there and then continued our trip in the morning.

A major point for the hotel is that you are able to use the sauna, spa, and pool at the adjoing Tallink Spa and Conference center for a very discounted price. The hotel is located near the metro, markets, and restaurants and a few minutes walk from a ferry terminal for trips to Helsinki. Rooms were comfortable and more than adequate for a stay the night before and after taking the ferry to Helsinki. It offers a free breakfast that has an ample amount of options. There are also public parking lots within a few minutes walk of the hotel that cost less than 10 euro per day when we stayed.

I was positively impressed by quality of breakfast including breakfast boxes hotel provided on a day of early departure to cruise.

Very good location, old city and ferry terminal only few minutes away.

The soundproofing of the rooms is very poor. You can hear your neighbors in other rooms, you can hear people talking in the corridor. You can hear people in the surrounding rooms using the toilet and shower. The toilet tank constantly leaked water. Poor breakfast selection.

Location (close to old town and port), comfort (spacious rooms) and easy - early check-in.

Quite dirty carpets, and strange on and off smell in the rooms, can't tell if it was the sewer or humidity in the room

I didn't like it. There are better places within Tallinn to stay. Run if you see this and spend your money elsewhere. I tried to limit my time within the hotel.

You can hear everything. Literally everything. The adjoining room beside me was on the phone, and I could audibly hear the voice at the other end. Likewise, there's a lot of noise from the corridors. Furthermore, there's no kettle or any facilities like a fridge or water in the room. I don't believe there are any in reception either for general use, and if there are, no one informed me of it.

Very good loctation, was really convenient for us. Great breakfast. Our daughter really enjoyed having an ice-cream for breakfast.? Private parking. Nice staff, very helpful, even provided electric kettle for us. Very convenient online check-in&check-out system.

Wasn't very clean, we found empty bottles left after previous guests.

Breakfast was nice and also the SPA and swimming pool is very very nice

It was a bit noisy in the evening, there was a school group in our floor.

The location of the hotel was very good and beds comfortable, breakfast was tasty.

We arrived after 10pm and even though hotel confirmed that check-in time, there was no information given in advance about using an entrance of different hotel in order to check in.During our stay there was an early morning fire alarm. After evacuation there was no one from the hotel staff to give information to the guests waiting outside (some of them barefoot and wrapped in blankets) and we only learnt it was ok to go back to rooms, when we went to lobby ourselves..There was no acknowledgement or apology about the (probably) false alarm at check-out and it really dampened our stay.

Nice and clean room

After 22 o'clock the main entrance didn't open, even when we scanned our key cards the light on the scanner turned green but the door still didn't open. Pretty much the same issue in the stairwell, our room was on the 4th floor but the door to the hallway was locked and there was no scanner to get the door open with. Luckily the neighboring hotel had open doors and let us walk through to xpress and the elevators worked as they should!

Nice modern room, comfy bed, very good location, tram stop right around the corner, helpful staff, good value of money
