    Pros +

    • The hotel is such a cute historic place right in the center of the Old Town. It's location is ideal and the room was quite cozy (big fan of the clawfoot tub).
    • The staff were warm and friendly. You are just steps from Town Hall Square. Many excellent restaurants nearby and all the walking tours start nearby. The room was quiet and comfortable.
    • Great and comfortable 3 night stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Always greeted me with a smile. Ground floor room great since there's no lift. A bit cold though but it's winter. Stayed here for the Christmas market.

    Cons -

    • These aren’t really complaints, as they are part of the trade off for being able to stay in a beautiful medieval building. The room was a bit dark as the gorgeous ceiling can’t accommodate an overhead light. Also, be aware that you will be carrying luggage upstairs… again, it’s a medieval building that was not built to accommodate such things. Overall, the advantages far outweighed the minor inconveniences.
    • The public parking was not convenient and very expensive
    • There is nothing to not like!

All very good---huge room; huge bed!!!! Good breakfast. (and a French bakery right next door!). Delightful staff. Good, solid communication prior to arrival.

The room was beautifully decorated and furnished. The Staff was extremely helpful. Wonderful location next to a great French bakery.

The public parking was not convenient and very expensive

What looks like a simple house from the outside is actually the doorway to a 14th-century mansion with a beautiful garden inside. The rooms are classy and comfortable, and some still feature original wall paintings. The owner has done an incredible job of preserving the historic charm of the place while adding modern comforts. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful! They take the time to walk you through all the details, offer guidance, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

There is nothing to not like!

Great location. Amazing staff, friendly, great personality and super helpful

The rooms could be updated a bit.

The location is superb. Just steps away from Town Hall. The room was quiet, clean and dark enough for a restful stay. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff.

Location, close to many things in the old city.

My room was across the courtyard, a very neglected area of dead plants and broken walkways. The door to my room was half clear glass with a sheer curtain that allowed a view of my bed. It did not feel safe or private. I did not ask for another room because when I arrived there was a group at reception having an unpleasant conversation about a lack of rooms. My room is in need of renovation. It is very tired looking.

While it is a historical hotel, and only some of the rooms are updated, I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a historical suite with its own sauna in the room! The location was perfect, very close to all the bars and restaurants in the main square.

In the historical rooms, could use some work with chipped tiles and floorboards lifting.

Nice building and helpful staff clean rooms, good breakfast.

Location A hotel in the heart of an old city. Close to all attractions and lots of restaurants nearby.

It is not possible to arrive by car. There is public parking about 240m away. Parking costs 24 euros for 24 hours. Inconvenient with several people coming. And it is also difficult to carry luggage to the hotel

    8WilliamPosted on: 6-10-2025

Location, nice staff, and super comfortable beds. Double glazed windows. Good cold & individually cooked hot breakfast.

Small bedroom. Some people would not like the lack of an elevator

    9EmilyPosted on: 6-8-2025

The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the location couldn’t be beat! Great to be able to walk right outside into the center of old Tallinn. The old property is very fun and charming and fixed up nicely.

Room was quite stuffy and curtains a little thin so hard to block out the long daylight hours of summer.

    8TracyPosted on: 5-29-2025

Nice clean location gave me the exact room I asked for when talking to them through booking and emailing them. Nice people and nice stuff good breakfast was celebrating a birthday there gave us a nice little surprise as a welcome very grateful for that.

A bit pricey for what you get

    9EllisPosted on: 5-26-2025

The hotel is within the beating heart of the old town where restaurants, cafes, and shops are also located. The dry hot sauna to rest and relax after walking around the old town is an added bonus. The owner and staff members are pleasant and always ready to assist. The hotel is great value relative to the price.

    Room upkeep.

Location was excellent, in the old town. We were given an upgrade and had a very large suite. Friendly staff

We were given an upgrade to a "Presidential Suite", it was very spacious, three floors, but furniture a bit old and dated, stairs to the top bedroom very steep, we ended up not using it. The rooms lacked ventilation and a bit musty. No curtain in the shower, which meant that there was water over the bathroom floor.Staff friendly, but we were given the wrong information concerning pick up location for Uber, as it is in the old town, cars cannot drive through, we booked a taxi with the help of staff in hotel, tolds us the locations was around the corner, and seemingly it was wrong, taxi went to the right address, but we were standing waiting for it in the wrong place after having followed the staff indications. We missed our airport transfer and had to run trying to find another taxi to make it to the airport, very stressful end of holiday.

Professional, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location and very good facilities. A small but well appointed and comfortable room.

Did not have an elevator. Whilst not an issue it could be for some.

    9AlexandraPosted on: 4-28-2025

The hotel is an amazing typical building of the old town. Our suite was beautiful and the staff was super nice. Breakfast is quite good too.

The shower needs to be fixed as there’s water going everywhere.
