Tallinn City Apartments - Old Town

The location and apartment were superb. Easy walking distance to all key locations. Large, clean, well equipped. Comfortable beds.

The nearby dance club with beats until the wee morning hours was annoying. Our reservation was ¿lost¿. Luckily we had the confirmation email and we¿re upgraded for a night. This was nice but meant waiting and moving more.

Brilliant location in centre of old city. Well equipped, comfortable & generous space. Restaurants all around & a short walk to shops.

There was a small terrace at the entrance to our apartment behind a door with our apartment number, which we assumed was part of our apartment. We found a person from another unit smoking there. It was not clear to us whether that was intended by management, but when we queried the smoker her ran away & disappeared into a nearby apartment. The management should clarify the situation as to which apartment the space belongs to & if it is a smoking area we should have been made aware.

Amazing everything! Right by old town main square! Huge deluxe apartment with everything you could need! Very warm (had to keep windows open as you can't seem to adjust) and quiet. Even a dishwasher! Easy contactless check in and out. Luggage storage downstairs! Best bed and blankets. It was the best!!

4th floor with no elevator and we didn’t know in advance so it was a bit hard with the luggage.Very weak water pressure in the shower.

At the very least, Apartment 2 should not be advertised as having a proper bedroom with a double bed. It was impossible for my wife and me to sleep there comfortably—the space was so cramped that there was no room to move (see photo), and unsurprisingly, all of the photos on Booking conveniently avoid showing that room.To make matters worse, one afternoon apparently someone in the building cooked or grilled something. When we returned, the bedroom was filled with a strong bad odor that forced us to keep the door closed to at least reduce the smell from invading the whole apartment. The smell lingered through the next morning in the bedroom.Fortunately, there was a sofa bed in the living room, which we ended up using. Without it, our stay would have been a complete nightmare.For clarity, this review refers to Apartment 2. My son and his wife stayed in Apartment 3, and they reported that their bedroom was decent and usable, so the issue seems specific to Apartment 2.

The location is perfect for tourists - the room is ideal for two people. Also, I like that the apartment provides a fan, especially in the summer season.

It was challenging to find the location at the beginning. However, once you see it, it is super convenient.

Excellent apartment, very comfortable, in a great location. Historic sites, cafes, restaurants and shops are literally a few steps away. Very peaceful/quiet overnight despite being centrally located in the Old Town.

Nothing. I thought the check in/out would be cumbersome given that there are no staff on site but it wasn’t, everything went through seamlessly (inc onsite storage of bags after we checked out). Others could learn a lot from the management of this property in how to do this well!

We absolutely loved the location! The place is big enough for 2 people and infact bigger than we expected. Luggage storage at the bottom of the apartment is also quite useful, especially if you want to stay in the city beyond your checkout time.

Loved the location and space in the apartment. It is very close to the square and had restaurants in front - but the double windows muted all noise. Really a lovely apartment with a few quirks.

The neighbors balcony looks directly at the bathroom windows. There is a film on the windows, but still awkward since the neighbors were on their balcony when we showered etc. A curtain or blinds would be nice. A very small washer, but no drying rack.

Decent place, nice to have a washing machine. Automatic check in was ok, but you can’t get in a minute early.

Having a real human around.

It’s right in the heart of old town and is very nice and spacious.

The WiFi was a little spotty

The location is perfect. It is just in the heart of the old town, the tower Hall is just about the corner. But despite on this it was quiet during the night outside. The apartment was comfortable and just as in the pictures. Kitchen had everything you need, the bed was comfy. It was nice to seat in the warm apartment and enjoy old town view. There also was a parking spot just around the corner which was very comfortable.

The bed is comfy and the apartment is nicely furnished. The location was great for exploring the old town.

At first, I found it hard to find as Tallin City Apartments have two locations, and I didn't realise this until I arrived at the wrong location. The staff were helpful however.

I've stayed at TCA a few times - the apartments are all lovely - big, spacious, well appointed. The location is exceptional right on the square in the old town. Entry is nice and easy - you get a code to get the key it's simple. The admin people are super helpful.

Top accommodation. Very cosy and located few seconds from the Townhall square and other sights in Tallinn. The apartment (number 8) is simply beautiful, very well maintained and clean. Kitchen has everything needed for the few days. Washing machine is there as well. We’d love to come back!

Nothing to complain about

Fantastic position in town, very central but still quite at night. Easy access with the automatic key pick up & return.

The kitchen could have some basic condiments like salt & pepper and some cooking oil or spray.
