Hotel Royal

easy walkable location

Staff not friendly. Only dry sauna in women's locker working and by request only. No steam bath.

Good location. Comfortable room. Nice bathroom. Reasonable price.

It would be nice to have a mirror in the main room.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Royal. The ladies at the reception were incredibly kind and friendly—always a pleasure to have a nice chat with them. The room was warm and cozy, with a TV that had all my favorite programs. The beds were very comfortable as well. The bathroom had a large bathtub, and I bought some bath salts to fully enjoy a relaxing soak. And of course, a special mention to Ms. Agata—such a lovely and charming person.I’ll be coming back to Gliwice in January, and I will definitely book a room at Hotel Royal again!

The exceptional staff, always friendly polite and a great source of information.

I’ve stayed in many hotels in Gliwice and the world, and this hotel is one of the best, great rooms, great facilities and central. Love it.

Very central near the main square, decent quality hotel with helpful staff, a good breakfast and overall very good value for money. Probably the best place to stay in this interesting town as of October 2025

breakfast was not good - food cold.

key cards perpetually did not work. had to be kept far away from mobile phones!

Location, very friendly staff, good breakfast

Very clean and staff very lovely and professional

Not much plugs available

Excellent location. Good breakfast. Reasonable price. Spacious and comfortable room.

All good. Bed mattress a bit lumpy; could be more firm.

Location and quiet

No bar facilities

The location was really good. Very central but not right in the middle of the main square. Also close enough to various public transport options.

Personally, I prefer having a closed shower rather than a bath with a shower attachment but it's not a deal breaker. Hot water not always as hot as I would have liked it but again, it was acceptable. Spa & gym could have been better but our trip was too short to make much of a difference to our plans.

Very close to the main square.Nice room recently renewed.

I would have preferred a shower box, rather than a bath tub in my room.

Clean room, central location, decent breakfast, friendly staff.

When booking it wasn't clear that the hotel doesn't have parking, but you need to leave car in the multistorey car park 5min away, and that you are being additionally charged for it a day. Also when leaving at night, there was nobody to let you leave the cat park- nearly missed the plane because of it!!

Size of the room, proximity to the city centre, View, great diverse breakfast

Elevator was older, shower had wrongly positioned hot/cold signs, confusing opening of bath drainage (needs rearrangement)

The location is great. The breakfast is delicious. The staff is wonderful. The room is great - the TV is huge, the bathroom is big and clean.

The bed is too high and very soft

Great location in the centre of town, friendly helpful staff.

No room service with food, everything is a bit dated, the sauna needed an hour to be warmed up, in fact I would say they are wasting a really good selling point.

Great braekfast. Location at he centre.

There was NOT functional heating at the room! Temperature was about 17 degrees. Also heating at bathroom was not going well so last there was very cold! Temperature of hot water at the shower was also very low not suitable for shower! Other colleague has room Temperature ok, but shower was also cold. Be careful to ask hotel what Temperature will be at the room. I need to sleep at jacket during night :-(( As the Temperature outside the hotel was minus 3 during nihlght and it was out of season I understand that hotel need to save money, but I paid normal tax for room so I need to get warm room and hot shower!

Comfortable. There ara so many shops and restaurants nearby.

Parking even just for seconds to get the parking area adress is almost impossible.Parking area is 500-600m away.
