It was good value for money. Good location, very good breakfast!

Location and facilities are the best Only 4mins walk from the train station New and bigger room than other hotel I’ve stayed, good layout There’re the washing machines on the ground floor but many people in use aswellThe hotel I like the most in Sendai trip

I think staff behavior was not good.. We booked through Booking.com and by mistake room was smoking. We have made -multiple attempt to request to change to non-smoking but they have made the mind not the do so, despite we ready to pay additional cost. While we made request through chat, call and it was rejected and tried requesting at reception when reached. Suddenly a staff came and denied without listening. The behaviour was extremely rude

The bed was good. Nice view from room.

The corporate lack of personality is not pleasant. The check-in with machines is laborious and long. The hotel with 12 floors with a dozen rooms on each floor only has one lift!! The room and bathroom are small and the walls very thin so not the best for sleep. The cramped breakfast room is a madhouse in the morning and once you know the quality of the food, no need to do it again

Everything was up to my expectations. Small but very cozy room with all you need for a short comfort stay.

Neighbours were a bit loud but it's not the hotel's fault of course.

Stayed only for one night, good location, next to the station and walking distance from the centre, super friendly staff.

Just one single small elevator for this large hotel. Totally insufficient, especially at breakfast time.Breakfast was poor, not tasty, and lacked diversity (compared to my experience at many other hotels in Japan).

I really enjoyed all my stays in the Toyoko Inn hotels! This was no exception; great location, great room, great breakfast and great staff!

Reasonably priced . Good location. Parking available and rooms were decent.

Stayed here just for a night because I needed to take the train very early in the morning, so it absolutely fitted my needs. Kind staff who immediately helped me with a request. Food delivery services also worked for that area.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts included a good variety of options. The room was clean and typical size for a Japanese budget hotel.

The hotel only has one elevator for about 110 rooms. If you're on a lower floor then the elevator is always full by the time it gets to your floor during the breakfast time. You can take the emergency stairs outside to the buffet but just one elevator is not enough for that hotel.

Across the street from the train station and starting point of the hop on hop off bus stop. breakfast was a tasty mix of Japanese food. Room size was ok, beds are firm but comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

Helpful staff; very clean, comfortable and sizeable room. Excellent location being only 3 minutes walk from the station.

The hotel was super close to Aizu-Wakamatsu station and there are many restaurants and konbinis nearby.

There was only one lift and you had to wait long during peak hours. The instructions for the laundry was all in Japanese unlike some other hotels which had English translation available.

Very close to the train station (3mins walk), with many eateries within walking distance. A no-frills hotel. Rooms are rather spacious by japanese hotel standards. Beds & pillows are comfortable. Simple but delicious buffet spread for breakfast. Though the dining area was not big, turnover was quick & we could find seats on all 3 days we were stayed. Nonetheless, there are takeaway boxes if you cannot get a table to dine in.

There were no seats at the reception counter for my elderly parents to rest or place our luggages while we processed the check-in. However, we could sit at the dining area which was just beside the reception counter.

Comfortable rooms, decent view, a great value for the location - easy to get to the city sights and travel further on the train (just outside the station).

The water gets boiling hot - far hotter than the typical hot spring. Surprised me, but I'll be more careful next time.
