Friendly and helpful staff capable of also speaking english for those travelling, good breakfast and clean rooms.

We had 3 rooms booked for 7 people and wanted for the rooms to be located next to each other or at least on the same floor - staff kindly accomodated our request which made our stay there even better.The location is perfect - close to nice restaurants and city centre.It is quiet at the hotel and rooms are of decent size.

Could be a bit more to eat and more to choose from

Breakfast was excellent! Nice selection of breads, meats, salads, cheese, etc. Location was excellent, next to Solaris center.My room was very spacious abd comfortable.

The bed was too soft for my taste..There was no kettle in the room, but even though tea making facility was available at the reception, it required making a special trip.There was no safe in the room.

This is a hotel in a tenement house between the castle and the university and opposite a shopping centre. It is about 8 minutes walk from the town square and a few steps to the Artist Square (the actual figures are in the grounds between the church and the university not in the actual square). The room was very big, had a table and an armchair in addition to the bed. Two large windows looked onto the castle and the church.The bathroom was huge. The breakfast was large and very tasty. There is a little bar at the reception desk.

I had a business meeting and the wifi was so bad we had to abandon it. It's the only negative. A small hospitality tray with a kettle, cup, spoon and some tea / coffee would be worth adding to the rooms to really bump them up in comfort.

Excellent location, the room was spacious and spotless. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The room & hotel was quiet. Glad that there were real plants on the staircase and they were well looked after.

Pretty soft and narrow beds for my liking, but comfortable enough to sleep. Locking the room door was a bit tricky business and that made most of the sounds in otherwise very quiet environment.

No kettle in the room, coffee served for breakfast is dreadful and even though breakfast is served till 10am when I come down at 9 there was very little left and no staff at all in attendance

Beds were uncomfortable and one of them was what seemed to be a foldable, camping bed. I have specified with booking i needed one large bed or two singles put together (i booked a double, not a twin). There were two singles on opposite sides of a fairly large room but both botled to the walls, thefore immovable. When i asked staff about the issue, the suggested bringing in another bed. What ended up happening was they brought another camping bed and paired it with the existing one. I couldn’t be arsed arguing so i slept on the single the second night as it was a tad more comfortable. Also, shower head leaking in all directions. And very poor breakfast.

The location is perfect with most of the tourist destinations nearby. The place is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is excellent. All the staff in the hotel were very kind and polite.

Location is absolutely great. Staff ok, nothing special, but nice and polite. Breakfast ok, served "on time", on marked tables, somewhat funny. Good choice of eggs and cold cuts. Cold coffee, no sweets.

They can fix the wall before they give a room to the next guest. Leaking shower, no towel hangers, no electric outlets. For my troubles they offered me ... 5 % discount. You read me right, five per cent. It is state of mind, important is money, not a person.
