Pros +
- We booked on fairly short notice, with about a month to go, and they were very quick to respond to our inquiry. They are more than accommodating and very pleasant. The breakfast was great. Plenty of American honeymooners during Summer.
- The owners will take care of you as part of the family
- Great location. Really nice people. Bending over backwards with great advice and very helpful in organizing the day
Cons -
- Stairs to the room
- The bed was a little soft for our personal liking. Room sound proofing was a little thin. (We could hear the loud snoring of one of our neighbors, unfortunately.)
- Nothing. Everything was great

The host (Enrico) was very helpful and engaging. The room we stayed was simple and clean. The “steep” walking to the hotel did not bother us at all (but might be an issue if you travel with larger luggage.) The terrace was nice with good view of the town. The included breakfast was adequate.

Good location and car park is out the front - really handy if you have a car as there is no parking around! Staff were really helpful and told us how to get places. Rooms are a decent size with a good size bathroom, very clean and the cleaner came even though we only stayed two nights. Mini bar was also very cheap! Nice place out the front to sit out.
Good location away from the crowds but a short stroll to the town. A nice big room, comfortable bed, hot shower. Relaxed breakfast with a good variety.

Great place to stay, nice and clean. The room and the bathroom are big. The owner explained everything and helped with getting the train tickets at a discounted rate.
Owner - Enrico was very pleasant and provided great information to us to information to enjoy our stay. Great breakfast. Clean room. Peaceful location and parking provided too! Thanks Enrico!
Lovely place lovely and kind hosts ? room overlooking a gorgeous view
I like hosts, they were very friendly and helpful
A bit uphill and downhill walking
Great location, suoer quiet at night awhile just a few steps from the centre. And parking!Enrico was extremely helpful suggesting hikes, restaurants, tips etc,. Also very accommodating for our late departure, very much appreciated!
Enrique kept in touch with us quite a bit before our arrival, which was helpful. It had the important things: AC, fan, breakfast and a good shower.
It was a big bummer that we reserved (and paid for) our room for 2 nights but only got to stay one night because of a train strike that resulted in us getting dumped in Parma with no way to get the rest of the way so our room sat empty while we had to get another room elsewhere. Enrique informed us about the strike the day prior. I wish we’d known earlier so that we could’ve altered our reservations instead of having to pay for 2 hotels, but I understand the situation. Not their fault. Also, would’ve been nice to have a shade umbrella on our patio. They had been removed.
Loved the location just a short distance from bars restaurants, so was lovely and quiet at night. Space outside to sit and relax was magic! Breakfast was continental style had a good selection to choose from. Enrico couldn’t have done anymore to help us with local information and we had the most relaxing stay. Will definitely return.
The room was clean with plenty of space. There’s a fridge with a paid bar. Hand wash and body wash provided. The balcony is a lovely welcome to relax in the sun after walking up the hill.
It is on the top of the hill, so walking up and down was hard work. There is a lift from the train station but it’s a long walk round as well.
What an amazing place to stay! The room was super clean and had some distant water views (we were in apartment #4 on the top floor) with a nice terrace. Each morning we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast service, included in our room. It was more than we expected - lots of fresh fruits, pastries, granola, yoghurt, and breads. And of course, good Italian coffee! Enrico (and I assume his wife) were amazing hosts. We were given great instructions to arrive by train. It is a steep climb, but Enrico offered a pick up service from the train station - we probably should have taken him up on that offer. There is also an elevator from the train station that removes a good portion of the climb, but 1 Euro each (but you get a QR code to ride for free once you pay the tax at the hotel).Riomaggiore was the perfect place to start our journey in Conque Terre. The only thing to watch for is the cruise ships drop loads of passengers as La Spezia who all seem to converge on Riomaggiore around 9/10 AM, only to keep the trains full when visiting the other towns. The good news is they leave around 5 and the town is yours. Of the 5, our favourite is Riomaggiore , but you must be prepared for some hills/hikes.
Enrico was amazing as a host, he was very helpful and knowledgeable about how to best get around the area. He was very attentive and accommodating and gave the best customer service!! The breakfast was an awesome bonus to start the day. The room was large and comfortable and the water was hot with great pressure. Our expectations were exceeded in this property/stay.
The elevator from the train wasn’t working the day we arrived so we had to bring our suitcases uphill but that could not be helped by the hotel.
Hotel is in the village, good location. Silent. Kind hosts. Breakfast had good quality. Big room. Parking place was available (pricy)
No heating in the night, Wifi service was time to time out of order. Not so much choise for breakfast (but good quality)
Enrico and his wife were perfect hosts, the rooms well planned, breakfast good. We enjoyed having a terrace. The hotel is not far from the train station, and there are several nice restaurants not far away.
The room was excellent. The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast was good and the Italian coffee wonderful.
Enrico was most helpful. Room was ultra clean and breakfast just right. Simple but comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation
It's at the top of the village so although good, because away from the noisy crowds and its still very close to the town, the last part of the road is a steep climb
