About
This charming boutique hotel is located among the beautiful natural scenery of the Ebro Delta, less than 10 minutes' walk from the beach. Hotel Can Batiste's restaurant serves freshly-caught local seafood. The family-run Can Batiste lies at the mouth of one of Spain’s great rivers, the Ebro, just outside several stunning nature reserves. This fantastic environment lies in the south of Catalonia, a short distance from the popular tourist resort of Peñiscola. Enjoy the region’s famous foods in the hotel’s own 30-year-old restaurant. Here you can try a wide range of dishes prepared with fresh fish, shellfish, olive oil and rice, accompanied by fine Catalan wines.

Pros +
- This is a cozy and small hotel with a pleasant staff and comfortable rooms and fine restaurant downstairs
- everything thank you, all great, staff, room, general hotel areas, and breakfast
- Everything was fantastic. I asked at reception for an extra chair in the room and it was there before I got back to the room. Very Quiet and excellent breakfast.
Cons -
- If you’re looking for something to complain about, the breakfast options could be more varied
- location was a bit isolated; alternative restaurants were across the road, but hotel location was surrounded by site clearance rubble, so not a good feel for the location
- I was expecting the hotel to have a private parking, but actually was quite easy to park on the street in front..

Helpful staff, perfect room , close to local bars
Everything was good
The lighting on the stairs and landing was not good, after taking out the card from inside the room that activate the lights in the room you had to walk in pitch black 10 to fifteen feet before the landing lights came on , (not good when you are in your 70s)
Cleaness, location (near beach), good breakfast
nothing to comment
Didn't get the chance of breakfast as the receptionist was never there, so couldn't book.Took close to an hour to check in as no one was around.
Tha Staff
Location was good. The room and bathroom were spacious, comfortable bed. Good breakfast, nicely presented.
Free parking in whole place, really good breakfast, nearby places with tapas and local food.
Not close to beach
Clean comfortable and quiet.
The hotel and rooms were exceptionally well decorated in modern, colourful style. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable and attractive.
The outside of the hotel didn't do it justice. If we had not booked in advance, the outside appearance wouldn't have tempted us to stay. It was not centrally located and required a bit of a walk to get to restaurants and attractions.
