Helpful staff; beachfront; included tasty breakfast

So many positive things to say about this hotel from superb buffet display to the amazing staff. Even the kids staff were excellent in engaging our 2 sons. Location just perfect. Rooms were big and beautiful!

Our room smelled like sewage - we asked the cleaning staff about it and what could be done. But our room continued to smell like sewage for the duration of our stay. Additionally, our room was WARM. If you are going in the summer, be ware that the AC is weak and temperate at best.

The personal very kind and attentive. Exceptional location for beach. restaurant very nice and good food. Late bar very with nice environment, front beach but reserved. Health club and SPA facilities very good.

Having beach front was perfect.Excellent location on the promenade. Breakfast was amazing.Hotel very clean and well maintained.Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms had beautiful balconies and the air con was good.And rooms had good sound insulation. Food was excellent at the beach club.

The sea, the pool, breakfast very varied and plenty. Hotel staff nice and helpful but only at approach.Dinner at a’La carte restaurant was good, a bit pricey and the menu didn’t change ever. But a good alternative when you don’t feel like going out. Amazing SPA with really professional massages.

Room cleaning was average apart from one lady who did a really proper job and you could see the difference.Water supply to the room very random and at additional request.Extra charges when checking out - small bits and pieces but very annoying given it’s a 5 star hotel and you don’t want to go through your final bill like by line.

Terrible service.The hotel`s restaurant has been always 100% booked.I've paid for 9 nights but had got breakfast just twice.In practice, there not a Director.

Overall, my stay was beautiful. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a well-equipped gym and spa. The location is perfect for a getaway from the busy life of Barcelona, just a 10-minute walk to Calafell, a vintage town with many restaurants and shops. The hotel is ideal for relaxation; my room was fantastic, especially with the sea view. The on-site restaurants serve delicious food, and the breakfast was delightful.

Overall, my stay was beautiful, but a few aspects fell short of my expectations, preventing me from rating it higher. As a luxury traveler, I value personalized experiences and warm communication. During my stay, I didn't receive a welcome drink while waiting to check-in, and the explanation of the hotel facilities was rushed. Given the size of the hotel and my stay in the new building, I was a bit confused about how to navigate. It was also my birthday during my stay. While I didn't expect a full celebration haha, a simple acknowledgment or a small cake would have made a significant difference, as has been my experience at other luxury hotels.

The service at the restaurant is very poor. They don’t have enough suplies to serve guests. Restaurants extremely overpriced and not good enough. They DONT HAVE A LIFEGUARD AT any pool. I think that’s unacceptable.

We loved our time at the Le Meridien. We spent most of our time in Barcelona proper and it was nice to take the respite just outside the city. The private beach was amazing. All the food we ate there was excellent.

Nothing bad at all.

Perfect location, large room, luxury layout at 10 meters distance from a perfect sandy beach. Luxury hotel but some minor details are missing or less than perfect. I would rate it as a 4 - 4.5 star hotel.

Our room was rather noisy as it was directly under one of.the exhausts of the hotels ventilation exhausts. At night the noise of the main fan / ventilation system overstemmen the sound from the sea (which is in fact at only a short distance, you hear the constant sound of the waves, being a good thing). Front door facing the terrace was distorted, could hardly close and the lock to keep the thieves out ( for which there is a warning sign) was half broken. Just lacked a bit of maintenance and care. I could have fixed it myself in 1 hour if I had the tools, but hey...I'm supposed to be on a holiday trip.

Nice hotel, big rooms, big bath. Good breakfasts and dinners. Great beach. I liked everything. I want to thank Olga at the reception, she helped us a lot, thank you very much, we will definitely come back.

The beach, people and swimming pool were fantastic!

Time to clean a room. We have small kids and they sleep during the day. So sometimes when we came from the beach to the room in the afternoon the room was not cleaned. It was not always, but a couple of days at least.

Great location easy to get sun loungers without hassle of being charged lots of free and available towels.
