Everything, but most and above all, the hosts, super nice, accommodating, pet-loving and helpful. They do not have restaurant service at the moment, but they offered to heat whatever we brought, we were served at their dining room's table, with their plates, cutlery, etc., with grace and friendliness. The room was comfortable and very well heated (it was a rather cold two days, but inside was cosy). Feeling that our dogs were as welcome as we were is a rare luxury. If we are ever back to this area, we would go back to La Sala Camos with no hesitation.

Nothing, really! Just to say something, the extra bed (a convertible couch, I guess) was not the most comfortable according to our son, but the room, the hosts and everything else compensated for this minor issue.

Unique setting. Beautiful countryside. The dining hall is grand. The service was fantastic. Really memorable.

Very nice, mediterran style, romantic hotel in a quiet, hidden location about 10 minutes drive from Lake Banyoles where we participated on the Int'l Masters Regatta (1 gold medal out of 4 races:-). The place is ideal to relax. Very nice garden, good pool, sunbeds. Ok continental breakfast served by the hosts who were very helpful. Real family like atmosphere with lovely dogs and cats all around. Recommended to couples, group of friends.

We loved our week long stay! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was tranquil and beautiful, the service was impeccable. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in a rustic farmhouse, this is the place. We look forward to visiting again in the autumn!

I love nature, friendly people , historical sites and animals, so the hotel was perfect to me. It felt like home.Magali is a very good Cook doing delicious dinners. Wine was also from local cave. I will be surely back for my next trip.

Beautiful setting straight out of a fairy tale! The staff was wonderful, the accommodations, while rustic and simple, were extremely charming and everything worked as it should. I’d love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool amidst the dreamy patio and gardens, fruit trees, and even a historic church on site. The breakfast was well worth the price and even the onsite dog staff added so much to this wonderful experience. Thank you for keeping such a lovely place.

Quite literally there wasn’t anything I disliked.

Owners, location, suite was excellent. Food was lovely and excellent value.

Cats - I have a cat allergy but the staff handled it impeccably and were very helpful.

We loved everything about the property from the historic building the gardens and the animals to breakfast and the service.

Nothing, well chef wasn’t well so we didn’t get to eat dinner there but we did picnic in the wonderful beautiful gardens and were joined by various animals so not really a problem ? just a note, if you don’t really like animals or are in different to them this is the place for you, for us it really means of being at home so no problems at all.

Beautiful, welcoming rural hotel with lovely pool and areas to relax. Dinner was very good and excellent value. Our dogs were made very welcome and I liked having their pets around. They were extremely helpful when I need some paperwork scanned and sent off.

The breakfast was amazing and so balanced. There was a little bit of everything. We love the fact that they are pet friendly and that the other guests had dogs too and they could all be happy sharing the space there. The surroundings are very pretty and the owner is very nice too. Overall very recommended. We will go back soon.

We only thought that if you are not an animal lover, perhaps you would not like to spend time in a place where there are dogs and cats around. But we just LOVED it.

Superbly restored traditional "mas" with modern lighting in the generous terrace areas--really in the woods, so no disruptive noise from roads or neighbors (except for one great horned owl at 5 a.m.). Lovely dinner with incredible hospitality and nice ambiance; good to choose this, as the nearest other options are quite a ways from the site, and the chef is very talented, so worth dining in. They also make all the guests' pets as welcome as their owners, and this is a welcome change from so many other places.

It might be nice to set up a "self-service" option for drinks and snacks since there are no shopping options nearby, but after the generous service of both food and wine, this would be just a "nice to have."
