A pool and a Turkish bath is pretty good for that price

If you want to explore the town, it’s only possible to get there by car or taxi

The room was very comfortable and I had a lovely view.

The restaurant was away from the hotel and the vibes were just off. No one ever answered my text message questions before I arrived and it was just a little strange. It could have been due to my lack of Portuguese language as I saw staff act very differently to native speakers.

Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. Loved the pool and we managed to find a little spot in the garden we could sit in for refreshments in the afternoon despite the building work going on. In the evening after returning from town we all gathered in a little room off the reception area for a nightcap which was very nice indeed

Will have to come back when work is finished, the sauna was out of action making the 'Spa' only a swimming pool really albeit a nice one. There was some noise earlier than we were told the work would start and some of the pathways around hotel to garden areas were blocked off.

It’s a little secluded, but that’s the choice you make.

Did not have the time to take advantage of the pool or steam room.Breakfast spread was simple but good, plenty of variety...especially if you like baked goods!The cleaning staff and lady running the breakfast table were very kind and attentive to my needs.

Ants in my room that got into my luggage/clothing...but it was raining and i suspect food may have been brought into the room by a former occupant to attract them?

Great value. Excellent, helpful staff. Not the greatest golf course - but its character made up for that. Great wildlife around.

Was hard to find in my sat nav ! If sat nav takes you on the back roads - reroute & get back on the main track !!

Good "breakfast".We didnt' use the "pool".The "room" was OK.

Everything was good

I was so glad to be able to use the pool. Lovely and you get towels to use for the pool, breakfast was good too. Parking underground and then a lift to the room.

We have used this hotel before and it is well-located for our needs.

The hotel felt penny-pinching, we had half an already used toilet roll. When we asked a particular member of staff for help on two occasions he was verging on rude.

Staff are friendly and try their best while accumulating different roles. They always seem to be in a rush.

The hotel clearly needs to be refreshed regarding some facilities at least. Bedroom had an historic manual light blocking system, smelled a bit mouldy and the toilet floor was always flooded after a shower as the protection wasn't good enough. The frigo bar wasn't working (with no apparent regulation system). The hotel has so much potential considering location and building, that it definitely would benefit from some repairs and updates. Hope they can do it soon.

Totally nothing

And totally everything: the staff is uninvolved, the room is old, the breakfast is hopeless (literally every part of it). If you don’t play golf there is no point to stay here. If you don’t have a car it’s strongly recommended to avoid it at any cost.
