Hotel Alda Castelao

The location was very convenient. The room was basic but comfortable. The windows are able to open and the air conditioning works well. The front desk attendant was very pleasant. We did not get the breakfast. The beds were reasonably comfortable.

The refrigerator did not work. There were no blankets or bedcovers on the bed or in the room, only sheets. The room didn't measure up to the picture in the booking description.

Excellent location and price was good. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and gave us good suggestions.

Air conditioner was not working, stagnant air in the room, could not open window because of noise outside. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor

Location, very close to town center and fairly close to the commercial port.

The hotel feels outdated. Everything works in good order, but it just has lost its “fame”.

The location is precious and the comfort is unquestionable.

The sound of the closing doors is loud, I can hear people walking in the corridors and closing their doors. That’s the only negative point for me!

It was very noisy we could hear people from the other room talking, their tv going to toilet, coughing … Very expensive for what it is

Location. Clean, quiet

The front desk staff, Valle in particular, were friendly and efficient. The location is right in the middle of the small downtown of Vilagarcia, so more ideal for commercial reasons like dining, shopping or business than for waterfront or beach activities. The garage is difficult to get to in a pedestrian street and very tiny and narrow to drive into its winding ramp, so recommend the big private public parking garage a few blocks away instead.

The internet connection was not very good, and the rooms are outdated though in good condition.

Asked for double room and quiet .. got roomOn street and twin beds.

I liked breakfast selections but can use more hot meals with the scrambled eggs like veggies to with it. Was with a friend that is Vegan.

I personally liked everything.
