Pros +
- My wife and I arrived by bicycle and spent the night. They let us lock up our bikes in the dining room. While the outside of the hotel was a little dated, the interior was clean and was perfect for our stay. The only thing that would have been nice would be a fan as we stayed during a spell of hot weather. It is also in a great location with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Cons -
- A fan would have been nice.
- Location was at a very busy intersection. Bus stop next to hotel! Very noisy all night long! Noisy vehicles, noisy people!
- The whole hotel has had poor maintenance. Dirty walls, some broken tiling. The bath has a strong smell of urine, disgusting.

The staff and location and the cafeteria located on the property
A bit on the chilly side for this Florida boy!
Good location. Staff helpful.
The place needs an upgrade. A lot of noise from traffic.
The property is at the entrance of Pontedeume. There’s a laundromat across the street which is very convenient. There are lots of places to eat.
The curtain in my room isn’t wide enough to cover the entire window. At night when the lights are on it’s a challenge to change clothes because you might be seen from outside. If you need a hair dryer you need to borrow from the front desk. The staff at the front desk are very nice.
Basic but it doubled as a café
Room had very poor fixtures and fittings. Hotel looked and felt in need of a good refurbishment.
Pleasant
Very noisy By a bus station People were shouting in the street on 5 o’clock in the morning
The room was enormous and the location very good, next to the bridge. Maybe bathroom was vintage in style but everything working perfectly and clean. Staff is kind and sympathetic.
Staff on reception when arrival was very attentive and helpful.Answered all our questions about where to find things we needed to continue our walk.Excellent customer service
We chose this hotel because it is on Santiago's English road. The hotel is located in a central location, with both a pharmacy and grocery stores nearby.
This is the biggest drawback for many hotels, but I really don't like it when the double bed version is two single beds pushed together. This can be solved with a mattress topper, so that co-sleeping is comfortable. In the middle of the night, young people drove up to the parking lot next to the hotel and started a party that lasted more than an hour. The most interesting thing is that none of the hotel staff or the police stopped this :(
It’s right along the path of the Camino Ingles, with a wonderful view of the river and town.
It had the basic needs that I needed for one night. No problem.
The location was good.
This is a rough-around-the-edges hotel with little charm. Has a 1970's feel with few updates. It seems to be the only big place in town and was probably great in its day. I was there in July and it was hot. There was no AC (which is fine actually) but there was not even a fan in the room which made it very difficult to sleep. I had an "ocean-view" room which faced the main street/bus stop. There was no way to keep the window open at night because of the noise. The other side (forest-view) opens to a quieter side and you should request these rooms. The place was fine, just dated and little care for minimal comforts. No other way to say it, but the food was bad. I think this would serve the Hostel crowd, but it definitely doesn't match what you would think for a 3-star hotel. All that said, the staff was great and the location was right in the middle of things. The town is actually charming and has that wonderful old-Spain feel. Some great nearby restaurants.
Nice hotel in the centre of town. Near everything it needs to be near to. Hotel looks a bit rundown but rooms are nice, good beds and tastefully furnished. Very helpful staff. Carmen was so kind and helpful for us.
Bathroom was old and could do with renovating. Shower not good.
The location, easy to find. Staff very kind
The value for money, if you are offered the seaview don't even bother as it will be straight on to the main street and have in mind there are 24/7 vending machines just bellow "the sea view" rooms. Its overpriced thats for sure. Only one socket in the room not even by the bed
Super clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff.
Walls were a little thin but no biggie.
The hotel is very well located, close to the city center and it's great to have a night out. The staff are very nice and very accomodating when I asked to house a cake in their fridge.
The hotel is in decadence. It's lacking the most basic necessities like electronic doors, kettle, etc. The bathroom was very old and in dire need of a renovation.
Location. Room was large.
Felt run down. Cafe was limited. Noisy
Loved the location of Hotel Eumesa just at the end of the bridge. We were walking the Camino Ingles so seeing the hotel after a long days walk was very welcome, and having its location right on the track was a winner. Our room was very spacious and bright. An added bonus was having the main bus stop right outside the hotel which allowed us to take side trips here and there. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets within a short walk. Tino's Cafe and Bar is within the same building.
The main entrance to the hotel was locked and unkempt. Entrance to the hotel is currently via Tino's cafe around the corner and there was often nobody on Reception.
Staff very helpful. Bar comes in handy, on the Camino route
Appeared a little dingy
