    Pros +

    • Clean room, beach and port are just in front, staff are welcoming and assistive, parking for guest on one side. Everything was great
    • A truly lovely location in the slightly old-fashioned (in the best possible way) village of Tiros, this family-run small hotel was really super. High-ceilinged rooms with good a/c and a decent size balcony with super views over the sea and the little harbour. The front balconies are in shade in the afternoons too! They offer a very tasty breakfast. They have a dozen sun umbrellas and sunbeds reserved and free for Blue Sea Hotel guests on the (stony) beach immediately opposite the hotel just a few steps away - perfect!
    • While this is not an expensive hotel it does everything perfectly. All the fixtures and fittings work well, super clean; it's hotel simplicity at it's finest, everything you need but nothing you don't. The location is great, with good car park behind the hotel. The family who run the hotel are charming and helpful. The optional breakfast is a must. Great choice for a few days chilling in Tyros.

    Cons -

    • nothing to dislike
    • The mattresses are a bit hard, otherwise nothing really.
    • Nothing. Couldn't find any faults.

We have been here before and always choose Hotel Blue Sea. We like the friendliness of the Owner and his family. It is very clean and not noisy as it is at the end of the Promenade. The private Car Park is a Bonus. I have Arthritis in my neck and back and owner kindly provided a soft mattress topper for me. I was very touched by his kindness. Efharisto poli! Try the Greek breakfast...Fresh Orange juice is the best! Free Umbrella/sunbeds on the beach provided by hotel.

We cannot complain about anything. Always high standards for everything here and we will return next year too.

From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The owners greeted us with genuine smiles and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options, which made our trip even more memorable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-appointed, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and cozy comfort. The breathtaking sea view from our balcony was a highlight, providing a serene backdrop for our mornings and evenings. The hotel's location is ideal, situated just a short walk from the beach and close to the town center. Despite its proximity to everything, the hotel maintains a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is right on the water and outdoor seating was perfect spots to unwind after a day at the beach.

everything was a dream- a few steps from the sea, wonderful view of the boats from the terrace, great breakfast, charming and helpful hosts.

Location, room, price and especially the hospitality of Panagiotis.

This is our second visit this year and we came back because of the family who run this wonderful hotel. You will not be disappointed with the traditional terrazzo flooring. This small family run hotel is a must visit if you are heading to the coastal Peloponnese.

    Absolutely nothing.

Quiet and relaxing, Hotel blue sea has a wonderful view from its balconies (the photos do not do it justice) and is just a couple meters away from the beach. It is the perfect location for a relaxing beach holiday. There are free sun lounges and umbrellas for the hotel too. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the shower pressure was great, and the towels were fluffy and changed each day. The service was awesome, the owner gave us a large bottle of water on arrival and even offered to drive us to the nearby village of Sapounakeika for dinner one night, which we gladly accepted! For those who are interested, the owners speak the local endangered language, Tsakonian, so don’t miss the chance to hear the language of the modern Spartans! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Looking forward to coming back already!!

We stayed at this Hotel last year too. The Gentleman and his wife/owner is very kind and accommodating and runs the Hotel like clockwork. Hotel has own parking lot and a Lift. Everything is very very clean and tidy. It is at the southern end of the beach/promenade and quieter. It is an old fashioned Hotel with very good rates. We had a double room (small double bed and a single bed). Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast is available and is well worth the little bit extra. Freshly squeezed orange juice and good coffee are served with the Greek Breakfast. The Yogurt is the best ever! Very light and fluffy and tastes divine. Plenty of Restaurants all around. Free Sunbeds/Umbrellas on the beach. We will continue to support this family run Hotel.Thank you.Julie & Steve

Mattress bit hard but we were only there for 2 nights and we like this hotel so it is not a problem.

Lovely drive from Kyparissi to Tyros. Parking space adjacent to the Hotel around the back.Lovely owner and his wife. Received a lovely welcome from the Gentleman whose English isn't fluent but we got by and he was very kind and helpful to my partner and I.Immaculately clean Hotel; the cleanest Hotel I've ever experienced! This really impressed us. Our room even smelled clean...We stayed for 3 nights in a Double Room on the first floor, with a balcony overlooking the Sea. Very quiet area by the little port.Beach across the little road in front of Hotel and free Umbrellas/Sunbeds/Towels provided by the Hotel.Great homemade breakfast served outside at the front of the Hotel, with freshly squeezed Orange juice and the best coffee we had so far in the Peloponnese. Some reviewers wrote that it is old fashioned/furniture, etcetera, but we don't mind this at all and in fact, we found it to be more like the 'old' Greece which we love. For us on holidays, it is more about the ambience, cleanliness and friendliness of people rather than all mod conveniences...Tyros has numerous Restaurants, Cafes and a few shops and supermarkets. I particularly loved the little Jewellery shop run by the charming Fani.We highly recommend this small Hotel on the seafront and definitely want to go back.Thank you so much!JULIE & STEVE

We liked everything and have no complaints whatsoever.
