Hotel Gromada Pila

I stay in the hotel few times a year. Always have a great time. I have tried others overnight places nearby. Nothing beats the feeling to hotel Gromada.

The room maintenance could be better. Doors, locks, windows and curtains are neglected.

Everything it’s very old in the room but stylish but it’s definitely time for changes. Bed cover was also dirty

Maybe because I am American this hotel very different, usually stay in American brands in Europe. Staff was helpful and nice. Beds not as comfortable, halls were very dark, smoke smells in hallway, breakfast was a free for all and super crowded. Room was very clean.

We could see the hotel from the station at the other side of town as a concrete tower with its name in bright lights. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised, as the reception area is spacious and smart. The room was also a good size, clean and comfortable. There was a good buffet breakfast in the stylish dining room.

Decent breakfast with a few local specialties. Scrambled eggs from real eggs, not from powder. Restaurant offer menu of the day with the exceptionally low price.

The view across the town. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and modern room. Good location next to the river with a few decent bars/restaurants nearby.

Being challenged at breakfast the second morning to see if we were guests at the hotel. It could have been done more discreetly.

It was too expensive for the facility they offered. Everything was too old. The wifi was not working and the general safety of the doors was not good.

Great hotel with excellent price. The breakfast with really good choice.

Located in the city centre, well established hotel.

We asked for a double bed and got a room with two single beds attached to each other.

Location The dinner was very good.

There was only 1 sachet of coffee in the room.The breakfast wasn't good for the price.

additional payment amount in case of payment in Euro at the hotel reception. I was not informed about this aspect in advance and it created a major discomfort for me.

I loved the vintage style of the hotel which was so well-kept, well-preserved, and maintained. It felt like you're walking in some past century for some items, yet there were many modernized things too, it was an interesting mix.

There was no air conditioning in the hotel, only a fan and the highest floors were extremely hot at night, but nevertheless, it was really comfortable from late August to mid-September.

Great location and easy to find. Standard room but comfortable and very clean.
