Hotel Altus Poznań Old Town - Destigo Hotels

The hotel is clean and stuff is professional and friendly. Great location makes it easy to reach a city center, cafes and restaurants. Train station is just a few blocks away and there is a bus from the airport which comes quite close to the hotel (you can switch the it to a tram or walk for about 7 minutes). The hotel has a few elevators so you don't have to wait to get to your floor. We were staying in a room with two twin beds. The room had a city view what was nice and not noisy. Breakfast was great! Huge choice of all types of food, bread, fruits and desserts. Everything was fresh and tasty. There is also a bar in the lobby.

The air conditioner didn't work properly. We tried to change it to 24 "C, but it was automatically dropping to the same temperature of 18"C, so it was a bit cold in the room (mid of November). The wardrobe is too small so it's impossible to fit anything in it. Toilet cistern works like a fountain so be careful not to get wet.

Perfect location. Splendid city views from the window. Extra clean. I really liked the idea of having a water cooler on the floor, it makes it easy to refill your jar whenever needed.

The staff are all very approachable, helpful, and speak great English, and the hotel's modern aesthetic is very attractive. My room was clean and had a very comfortable bed and a fabulous view of the city. Since this was already my second time staying at this property, I decided to try the in-house restaurant, and I wasn't disappointed, as the food and service were great and reasonably priced. The hotel's greatest asset as far as I - a solo traveller on a multi-week trek through Europe with lots of luggage - am concerned, though, is its proximity to the train station and the Stary Browar shopping centre.

It's unfortunate that breakfast didn't start before I had to check out (though that was before 07:00) and nor did I have the chance to familiarize myself with any of the facilities (so I can't really comment on them), but it would've been nice if there had been a bit more table space in my room (i.e., enough to set up a laptop and some paperwork).

Expensive. Parking is not always available and expensive as well. A lot of furniture and room overall requires some maintenance. And who thought that two-handle faucet is a good idea, almost impossible to adjust water temperature

Very close to the city centre. Yet easily accessible by car. And a secured parking lot makes it even better. Rooms are clean, A/C works good. And rooms are pretty good insulated, so it stays comfortable during hot summers. Spacious bathroom.

Only 1 elevated was working/accessible at that time, and we stayed on the tenth floor. Views were great tho

Hotel is located between train station and city center - everything is in a reachable distance. If one gets a room in the upper floors, there is a nice top view over the city. Room was silent, curtains perfectly blocked the sun, AC was working.

On one day one of the elevators was not working.

The rooms were very clean and comfy. We loved staying in the area, with many places to go out, and it was very quiet at the same time. We would definitely recommend it for a short stay. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful. Everything went very smoothly and quick during check-in and check-out. The rooms are more than spacious enough to use them comfortably.

The old building doesn't have good sound isolation between rooms and the corridor, but with ten rooms per floor there wasn't much traffic.

The hotel has amazing location, and it can be a good value for money. All necessary amenities for a short stay are there. The staff is very friendly.

The single room is small (there was very little space between bed and wall, making moving around difficult). I felt the cleanliness has slighly declined.

We liked that we weren't bothered by room service unless we wanted to be. The room was very clean and had a kettle.

There wasn't anywhere to keep cold drinks. There wasn't any milk so I had to keep asking behind the bar.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and flexible. They kindly kept our suitcase until the time we asked even after we checked out. Location is amazing. Only downside is that the carpet had a few stains and desks were a bit water damaged. Also we couldn't figure out how to use the air-conditioning and the room was quite hot. This hotel is perfectly cost efficient. Worth the money.
