De Pier Suites

It is all about the location! The building is literally in the water . We had a room overseeing the coastline. The feeling was like being on a large ship passing by. We had stormy weather ! The location is amazing - though a bit awkward to get there. The room was very spacious and had all expected amenities (coffee maker, fridge and TV) , which coffee etc provided and free of charge. We had breakfast included, which was alright.

Just as a word of caution: The property has a bit of a conceptual flair. It is not perfect. It appeasers a bit forgotten and requires attention for detail . I would guess it tries to prove its value to an investor!? We could see the potential and value for more, when attended accordingly

I really liked the concept of a room with a private terrace overlooking the sea.

But as soon as we entered the room there was a very strong unpleasant smell of dampness, like in a damp basement. The ventilation in the room worked poorly, but in the morning all the panoramic windows were fogged up, so we couldn't enjoy the beautiful view. The TV in the room also didn't work (

You have to carry your luggage by yourself all the way from the beginning of the pier. There was a golf cart available, but when I asked the reception for assistance during check-out, they said the driver wasn’t available. This is something the hotel should take into consideration.

Beautiful location, the room is beautiful, we could use everything from the mini bar. The breakfast buffet was thoughtful, well stocked and delicious. Their system of digital keys is very useful and simple, esp because I was checking in after the reception was closed. I had a beach view roomAnd the restaurant had a full sea view

The pier is a bit old and the lobby and hall in front of the rooms is pretty empty. But it is not a problem.

The view is one of the best i have ever seen in my life

Service is bad, refrigerator didn't work, there are ants everywhere in the Hotel, very bad smell in the corridors, colours of the room are weird. Breakfast Average or maybe a little bit below, reception looks like the on of a 2 star Hotel

The view was awesome. Too bad it was so cold. If warmer, we would've enjoyed the deck more. The bed was very comfortable, pillow great. We enjoyed the free mini-bar that came with this room. Didn't take advantage of the large tub, but it looked nice.

Wifi in the room worked great for my brother's phone, but for some reason not for mine. I had to go to the lobby for my connection. There was a really strong sewage smell in the hallway. Luckily, it didn't enter the room, Everything else was wonderful.

Loved that we could stay IN/ON the North Sea. Cool setting with restaurants, SkyView, ZIPHolland all right here on the pier and beach. Free breakfast and mini bar. Short 8 minute walk to tram to get you to either Den Haag Central or HS.

Small room. Not much space for suitcases.

The location was excellent with stunning views. It was nice to spend time in this spacious property with only a few rooms making it feel more private. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and caring and it was a great touch that the minibar items were included. Breakfast, served from 09:00 to 11:00, was delightful. There were fresh juices and smoothies, a good selection of bread and cold cuts, eggs, and more. A coffee machine was also available. We spend there one night and I would recommended this as the views and the location directly on the water are amazing.

The downsides were minor but I’ll mention them: some areas felt like they were still a work in progress. For example, the balcony near the reception seemed a bit worn and the hair dryer in the room was a bit dated, with a flimsy attachment. Nothing major, but small details that I noticed.

Amazing view. Unique location. The hotel told us we could use whatever was in the fridge. We were suprised to see a bottle of wine , 2 beers and 2 waters waiting for us in there..

It was a great stay, only a small problem was the led colour indoor lights did not work.

Location on the water was incredible

The toilet room smelled awful; the sink clogged up and arrival was horrific. They don’t tell you that there’s no way to get to the hotel entrance by car. You have to walk a long way. For me it was pouring and I had so much luggage. The security guard didn’t even help me with the luggage.

Unique location! Nice room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Generous minibar free of charge, very nice breakfast.

The Pier itself is a bit in disrepair. You need to walk quite far to reach the end. But you do get a unique location in return. Worth it for us!

The hotel is nearby restaurants and shops . The view is amazing

1.If you are coming with big luggage and you choose to stay in Penthouse room know that there is no lift and you will suffer picking upstairs your things.2.The pillows were really so high and wasn't available to choose from lower or higher because there was only high pillows.3.The cleaning day must be done between 11 till 15 o 'clock , but at 15:30 room wasn't ready. When i go inside i found that ground were dirthy from previous night that we stay, no shampoo and douchegel was refilled( maybe they saw i have my own for hair which is normally).4 . The bed wasn't made and the sheets wasnt change from the previous visitors because i found a hair under pillows.5. If you wanna use fitness or massage you have to pay a lot for nothing.For this price i will really recommend other hotels at the beach but never Pier again.This is my second stay here and it was the most worst stay.I wasn't expecting that such a hotel in such a location will bea dying slowly year by year.

Very good

Parking. Way too expensive and it was explained that it was 17euro. When infact only one of the 2 carparks were that price. The other was 35 euro. Not happy.

Wonderful location at end of pier.Large rooms with magnificent views od Scheveningen.

Breakfast only started at 9:00, which I found a bit late.

The Location is amazing. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and have good views

Coming back to the hotel after 10pm can be complicated. They should explain that better how this exactly works.

No exhaust fan in the toilet or shower.

location was excellent and the view was unbelievable we could slide open the window and listen to the waves underneathbreakfast was brilliant and had a great hot/cold selectionthe staff were all lovely and helpful too

Location, attractions, comfort, breakfast and other food and drinks included, beautiful view.

Safe was not working properly. Cleaning could be better. Other rooms repairs were carried out during my stay.

It could be more secure as in daytime anybody can basically walk up to your room door. Aditional secured doors to access the rooms should be installed, i.e. one before walking down the stairs and the door to access the hallway should also be locked.
