Staff could have been more patient with 2 older sister traveling together giving direction and explaining the parking lot fee.

Very cool design and style, especially in the room with ipad control of lighting and mood settings. Was also happy to see that Citizen M is now a Marriott property. The bar / food options were perfect for an airport stay before flying out the next morning.

A fire alarm (false apparently) went off at Midnight just after I had fallen asleep, and lasted for >15 minutes, disrupting my ability to rest for the early flight the next morning. So this was highly unfortunate and has caused my overall rating to be 5 / Fair.

Amazing hotel! Wasn't hard to find and locate at all. Very easy to get checked in and had very kind and helpful staff nearby if you needed help! The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. If I ever have another layover at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport I will definitely be booking this hotel again.

The staff were incredibly helpful, volunteering to carry both my dinner and breakfast trays to the table as I used a cane.

I like the fact that it walking distance from the airport. Me and my wife had never been to that particular airport before. We’re actually from the US so we were totally lost. I chose the closest hotel and to the airport because we had a 15 hr layover. The staff was amazing. They greeted us and really made the check in real easy. She let us know about all the amenities. Food and how the iPad works the whole room. Grade A service in my opinion. Also recommended the all you can eat breakfast in the morning that was pretty good. They also serve food all night by the way. So it was a short but much needed stay for our layover before our 8 hr flight back to the US. Thank you all so much.

very small rooms, non-functioning safe

i used the shower and had difficulty getting it to work; then it dripped the entire night. I even woke up and could hear the constant dripping. Not worth the price for the stay, but convenient for walking to catch my flight

It’s very convenient for the airport and all you need for an overnight stay

Construction made it hard to see the walkway to the hotel at night. When we got to the hotel after midnight it was locked and no way to ring a bell. We had to knock on the windows for several minutes before someone came

The whole room experience was like being in a sci fi movie. Everything from shower to bed was very functional. I liked the fact that we were able to walk directly to the hotel from the airport and the self check in. All in all a great night stay!!!

Room service was not provided, however the bistro turned out to be a positive offering lots of comfortable seating areas and good food.

The staff were lovely.

A pipe broke suffusing the entire hotel with the smell of feces, including the area where one was meant to eat. The room never cooled down despite setting the AC to maximum.

Unfortunately some of the appliances were not working correctly, so I had to ask for help at the reception. However, they were able to provide a quick solution and they even offered me a discount for the inconvenience!

The room size, position, and amenities.

Super clean, easy check in, cool rooms with excellent soundproofing. Comfortable bed and great location for an overnight layover.

There was an unpleasant smell in the lobby and hallways.

The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the airport, and if it's raining (likely, it's the Netherlands!) and you don't have an umbrella, that's no problem because there's a covered walkway the whole way with just a few gaps that take a second to cross. The staff were lovely at the front desk and at the bar. Breakfast was plentiful and as a vegan there were several options including cooked mushrooms and potatoes, bread & jam, fruit, packaged granola snacks, and maybe something else. There was no plant-based milk. The room was comfortable enough as one person, it might be weird for two with the toilet and shower right in the middle of the room (even though they have time machine-type doors that close around them). The view of the runways was cool.

Nothing, it was just an overnight layover. It was fairly expensive, but I booked it anyway because the reviews were good and the location seemed ideal. I'm okay with the value. I would recommend this hotel.
