About

Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia is part of the larger Chia Laguna resort. It offers a central square with boutiques and a wide choice of restaurants, bars and sports activities. Sardinia’s southern-most beaches, awarded Italy’s Most Beautiful Sea 2025 by Legambiente and the Touring Club Italiano, are 2297 feet away from your beautifully decorated room, and a shuttle service is provided to get you there. Conrad Chia Laguna’s rooms are bright and spacious, all coming with balconies or patios and LCD television. Most rooms have stunning sea views. The 107 rooms and suites are divided into two distinct areas, each with its own unique personality. As a guest at Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia you can go for a swim in any of 2 pools and play tennis, football or golf. Water sports are organized on the beach. Bikes can be rented on site and the hotel can arrange jeep, quad bike and horse-riding excursions. If you feel more like relaxing, head to the Conrad Spa. Children have their own clubs until the age of 17 and entertainment is available for everyone, every evening in July and August. Shows are held in resort’s main square.

    • Staff very friendly, delisious brakfasts, good dinners.

    Cons -

    • we came off season so most of the restaurants were closed so not a lot of options for food
    • A bit windy…. Luck of the draw!
    • The hotel is not at the beach, but there is a transfer with golf-cart. The Terrace Restaurant for breakies/dinner needs renovation.

The pools, the staff, the variety of food and breakfast!

The price of wine and water weren’t included and sky high, also taxi service to popular beach was very pricey recommend hiring a car.

Comfortable room and cleanVery good menu with half pensionBeach side with white sand was fabulous. The staff at the beach was also very nice and friendly.

The restaurant at the beach side was terrible. Very disorganized eventhough lots of staff and food just like a canteen. It’s too big and noisy. It’s a pitty. You better order your food directly at the bar of the beach and the service was quick and better served even though they used same restaurant.

    Beautiful property amongst nature

After arriving at 4pm, we waiting until 6 pm until able to access our room, after a long journey from Australia I found this unacceptable. We’re overcharged at one of the restaurants that same night needless to say was not a good start, we were offered a free dinner the next night, at least it was acknowledged. I expected more from a 5 star hotel.

The staff are friendly and tried their best to make sure everything was ok for our stay. Sadly I think during high season they will struggle to cope as odd things were missed during our stay and the hotel wasn’t at full capacity.

We didn’t like “the village” area that the Conrad is attached to. It feels like a throw back to bad package holidays. Think plastic chairs and tables around a “village square” with football showing on a big screen. Definitely not a 5 star experience. The rooms had no soft touches and felt cell like in an old block of flats (we had suites 5024 and 5023). The room standard was definitely 3-4 star at best. They had no hanging space, we constantly had to ask for tea making to be replenished and the noise level kept us awake from the dogs barking straight behind the hotel to the echo of the corridor, again due to no furnishings to soften the noise.

Everything. Stylish and sophisticated. Was an oasis of calm, great facilities and location with service second to none. Staff were amazing, everyone without exception was so welcoming, kind and attentive. The food was fantastic. From the rich breakfast buffet with the best omelettes you’ll taste to creative dinner dishes from a clearly very talented local chef. Their take on lemon meringue was just one of the many dishes to die for. The private beaches were also idyllic, with a very convenient shuttle service always available from the hotel in case you don’t want the short walk.

    Nothing. The place is fantastic.

Staff, all of them are wonderful. We mention Marco, Marco number 2, and Martina at the reception because they took care of us, but everyone was kind! We had a free room upgrade: a very nice touch as gift for my husband anniversary, as well a nice Franciacorta in the room the last day! Amazing SPA run by Giulia, the wellness centre, highly recommended the massages of Manuela! Terrazza restaurant with top professional Roberto leading a very attentive staff.

Tea bags and coffee quality at breakfast, while they were very good in the room. It's a real pity, because these details could make the difference.

Kids club stuff were excellent. All people who works there was friendly and excellent service. I would like to come back again and highly recommend for family

This was a great hotel, it has multiple beaches to visit (via a buggy) and the breakfast has everything you could possibly want. The rooms are very clean and quite large. Staff were helpful and the food at La Terrazza was really good! Would recommend staying here if you want easy access to nice beaches and good service in the South of Sardinia!

Lovely location. Beaches also beautiful and all staff we encountered were wonderful

The fact that almost every night mid dinner at nine pm, the entertainment for children was started. I have absolutely no problem with the principle but feel it is so poorly placed and basically ruins potentially romantic dinners. Also our room was not at all sound proof and we were disturbed as late as one in the morning by high heels and scraping of chairs above us

    Facilities and staff were excellent

Too far from beach - need to take a navetta to the beach. I thought when I booked that it was beachfront

    5MaltePosted on: 8-28-2023

    Passable

    - beach is 5-10 min away with golf cart- 5 star hotel paying 700 EUR a night charging 80 EUR for a front row beach bed... ridiculous

    1JuliyaPosted on: 7-17-2023

    Location only

Rude staff poor organization horrible food at breakfast inedible

    8MarekPosted on: 7-13-2023

Good location in a relatively calm area; Pool with very good staff; breakfast - a great choice

Some minor but annoying things. I have a benchmark with Conrad Hotel in Riviera Maya (Yucatan, Mexico) where I spent two weeks last year. And in my opinion as regards services still you have some way to be where they were. If you pay almost EUR 1k per night you may have some high expectations.

from food quality and service all excellent this was our second time there and we love all of it

    nothing to report

Best part: half board on a new level. Usually half board breakfast and dinner served in a buffet, however, here breakfast was half buffet half al a cart, which is not that unique however dinner was completely al a cart, which gave a real 5* experience. Our room was clean, the cleaning personnel were friendlier than the front desk.

Biggest surprise, that they charge for the spa extra, which is nothing unique and it is usually included in the price, especially in a 5* hotel prices. Cleaning of the terrace floor wasn’t part of the duty, which it would have been needed, especially on a rainy daysOur last day was a bit sunny, but at the pool wasn’t offered any towel. It was practically closed around the pool. Somehow I expect that the guest decides if the weather good for the swim or sleep at the pool, but not giving the option was a bit strange.

Bioaquam for lunch and drinks by the pool; Bollicine bar for evening drinks; the beaches; very friendly and attentive staff.

Breakfast and dinner restaurants were a little bland; air-conditioning didn’t seem to work in our room, with the room being a few degrees warmer than we wanted, they told us this is how AC works in Italian hotels, but I’d expect better from an upscale hotel.

Outstanding service with a smile and a picturesque location. Delicious food in La Terrazza restaurant, and attention to detail especially when preparing a birthday surprise. Special appreciation goes to Mini Club animators (Mattias and wonderful ladies), as well as the portiers, reception, restaurant and Bioquam and the beach staff. You all made our stay unforgettable.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Conrad Chia resort.
