Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Nieuwvliet Bad

The location was great and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good.

The towels were very thin and. Our bathroom smelled like smoke. The shower door was also wonky

The hotel unfortunately leaves much to be desired. Upon checking in, I immediately noticed the mess in the room – the floor was covered in dust and hair, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The interior is outdated and needs renovation; the furniture was old, and the carpet showed clear signs of wear and tear.The biggest problem, however, was the numerous hazards on the property. Broken tiles on the terrace posed a serious risk of tripping, and holes in the walkways were easy to miss, which could easily lead to an injury.The only positive aspect of the stay was the friendly and helpful staff, who did their best to make up for these many shortcomings. Unfortunately, even with the courteous service, it’s hard to recommend this hotel given the overall condition and the lack of attention to guest safety.

very nice hotel in very convenient location - just a few steps from the beach. Hotel has a bit of an 80's /90's style, this made me feel at home straight away. Good breakfast with nice buns, eggs, bacon, juice and coffee. When weather is nice, it is lovely to sit outside in front of the hotel.

Unfortunately there was not always someone at reception to answer your questions. Unfortunately there were only hyper modern electric bicycles to rent - why not some simple old fashioned bangers for people who like to keep it easy and slow in their holidays?

The hotel is in close proximity to the beach, they had a great breakfast buffet, a good restaurant and the staff was very friendly. We had a great time and can only recommend the Fletcher hotel.We are looking forward to come back some time soon.

Even though we explicitely booked and paid for three people, the third bed was unmade by 9.30 p.m. The bedding and sheets were well hidden. The staff consisted of two people, the chef and a young lady that was on her third day and had no clue what housekeeping does (apparently not her fault). The reception and hotline were unmanned.Room (2nd floor) was noisy due to heating and/or ventilation. Very small number of plugs, no plugs near the bed.

The room key is a punch card! The bathroom was clean but outdated. Breakfast was very good. The swimming pool is good and open all year long.

There is no kettle or mini fridge in the room Also, there is no air condition but a ventilator in the room. The electric outlets are limited but enough.

Breakfast was very good. Room was a bit too small, I would hve thought it was bigger and npt enough towels. Perfect location.

-Friendly staff once you were friendly to them - should be the other way round though-breakfast was extensive

-late check in, room was not clean at 3 pm —> shortage of staff. Other clients complained as well-shortage of staff-HORRIBLE dinner, tasteless and expensive! The cauliflower patty was lukewarm and hardly any cauliflower in it, the fish and chips dish was small and the crust was rock hard. The waitress was insecure.-the bedroom was like one in a youth hostel. The water in the Beth room was nice and warm, I want to be fair!- very expensive deal

Super close to the beach! We had a very big room for 3 adults.

The building is quite outdated...but our room was OK.

Upgrades are always niet. Friendly staff and a proper breakfast. On top: very naar to the sea and the dunas.

It's a tourist only area and the hotel is not very New.

Great accessibility to the beach and included parking.

It was very noisy in the dinning rooms during meals.

The hotel is very good located of you make a beach holiday.

The hotel needs an overall refreshing. our room was so outdated, the carpet was old, the balcony was ugly, the bathroom was old and some repairs have been made, but no quality work was performed. There were cobwebs in the room. There was not enough staff to serve drinks at the bar in the evening. Reception was only open from 8.00 to 18.00.

The Hotel was a Dirty and old.. everything of that Hotel is not giving us the vibe of a pleasure...

Friendly staff. Close to beach for walks. Quiet location. Probably much, much busier during the high season.

For me personally the bed/matress was far too soft.Pity we had to carry everything to our room for breakfast. Lots of running up and down for extra coffee. Rooms are not suited to consume meals in. Fortunately we had a balcony so we could have breakfast outside. Obviously I do understand that these were unusual circumstances due to the covid measures.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The room meet our expectation, as comfortable one. Amazing proximity to the beautiful sea beach. The breakfast was really very good!
