The location was good. But that’s it.
We arrived and did not get the room we booked. I know pictures might look different from reality, but this was clearly a different room. Starting with the room being much smaller and the door was open, leaves from outside on the chairs, dirty carpet and no bath tub. When we informed the reception the man told us he would “upgrade” our room to a “luxury” room (which was our original booked room)… once arriving there the first impression was good, a bigger room with a bath tub, but once stepped inside the carpet was dirty! Mold on the bathroom ceiling! And dirt on the balcony window. There were blood/wine stains on the carpet and the room smelled musty. Overal, a dirty room. After informing the receptionist again with proof and the pictures below the only reply we had gotten was “we are sorry and we take note”. We decided to cancel our trip and went home. We did not get any compensation or refund! Even after calling Fletcher’s customer service. Such a shame. Don’t book here!
It was all there what you needed, it’s an amazing location, had a swimming pool, and is so spacious, the food in the restaurant was amazing
It just needs refreshing, but might be a costly job for the size of it, please provide normal cups thank you
For my journey it was a great location. The reception was really good. My room was very nice including a balcony. Meals at the hotel were very good and the service just added to the experience. The hotel also had a swimming pool. Secure parking for my motorbike.
Easy check in/out no probs.

The bed was comfortable.
The service at the restaurant was quite bad. We were staying at the hotel to celebrate a birthday and were looking forward to a nice cozy meal. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food order to even be taken. And we were sitting there for 1 hour 30minutes before our food arrived. Not even the bread plate that we ordered as a starter came in advance. A 7:45pm reservation and we got our food at 9:15. The food was fine but by the time we finished we were so tired that we didn't even celebrate with birthday dessert...we just wanted to go to bed. Highly disappointing all around.
Breakfast was always spectacular.
They often forgot to take the dirty dishes from the room. I did not try the swimming pool although it was "prima te doen" according to a young Dutch couple that was struggling to stay polite when I asked about the temperature there.

The hotel is situated in a tranquil location and has an excellent restaurant. Staff was helpful and attentive to our needs.
Nothing at all
The only thing that is nice around is the amount of free parking and location.
The staff is extrely rude and unprofessional. The receptionist accused us from smoking weed in the room and without being unable to show any proof, he consisted on us paying a fine otherwise he doesn’t let us check into other two bookings we had. As regular customers who brought this hotel bookings within at least 2k € worth per stay (and therefore this not being the first time we seen each other, never having any issues, complains or anything that sorts from us), it was shocking to see such treatment. The staff kept on harrasing different individuals regarding smoking (even though nobody of the group smokes). On top of that, the receptionist gave out rooms without the main person of the booking to be present or asking for any ID, which resulted in wrongly distributed rooms. After this incident, we definitely got a different treatment - the restaurant refused to give us an option to choose from the dinner menu and told us that we can only pick from them pre-selected options. The same night, a guest next to one of our rooms was smoking weed on the balcony, which resulted in our room being contaminated by the smoke. I wnet to notify the receptionist. He refused to do anything about the situation, been lying to me about nobody being there, forced to me make a visual recording of the neighbour guest smoking to prove him that I am not lying. He also said we should not complain about weed smoke “as we smoke ourselves” (we do have audio recordings of this too).NIGHTMARE STAY, truly. Especially, as a young woman, being so verbally aggressively treated by an old male, I found extremely concerning and scary. Especially, if there are no name tags or “who is at the duty on the day”, no cameras or other personnel - this man could do basically anything. On top of this, the whole bathroom was full of mold and dirty. Chairs in the restaurant area could also use some care.
The only downside is that the room was without balcony and was quite small. But it was comfortable
We arrived late, If we...
The room we had was nothing like the photos of what we booked. It was very small and grotty. The bathroom grouting was mouldy and it was dirty.
Nice rooms, helfpul and polite personel, great breakfast to keep you going for the whole day
Location
First hotel where I had allergies; outdated rooms, uncomfortable pillows (too high)
Compare to Fletcher wageningen it’s a bit old but location is just in the middle of the heaven. Green and beautiful.
All good
Poor
We booked this hotel for the weekend. The entrance was more or less inviting, the girl at the reception was ok. The corridors had a rustic look, which we liked. However, the room was a complete disaster. It smelled of mold, the carpets were dirty, the bathroom was more or less clean, with an unpleasant smell and some cobwebs, and the shower had little water pressure. The cupboard above the clothes was full of dust. I understand that it is an old hotel, but they should be more careful with cleaning. The breakfast room was the best room in the hotel, the breakfast was good, and the man who was organizing it was very friendly.
We received a “Suit” instead of just a booked double room. Suite was very spacey, a pair of extravagant red leather armchairs, a huge window front and a large bathroom with both a tub and a shower.
We stayed in April and nights were quite chilly. We arrived very late (after 10 p.m.) and room was not heated, which is understandable. But it was really chilly in this spacious room and in the bathroom as well. The mattress on the bed was rather soft, which is not preferable for everyone. Some furniture items were very shabby, though not hopeless. A bit away from the connecting highways, which is visible once you locate the hotel on google maps. Might be tricky to drive the way in the dead of the night, as the drive goes through the narrow forest road. Finding a parking space may be challenging, if you arrive late.
The front desk person was friendly. Dinner was tasty in the restaurant and served quickly. It was nice to have an indoor pool and sauna onsite. The forest surroundings were quiet.
There was black mold on the back wall of the indoor pool. The room's balcony was full of moss making it not welcome to sit outside. There were no towels or changing rooms down by the pool. The bedrooms wc sink was cracked and it didn't have a min bathroom light or fan. Very dark.
