Far away from commercial shops and not much local transport available

Very modern hotel with beautiful view,literally 100m from the seashore,very kind and helpfull staff,the food is extraordinary. Looking forward to going there again!

Beautiful hotel, very modern and especially great lighting everywhere! Location is conventions even if you’re coming by pubic transport.The saunas were great and staff were friendly.

“Side sea view” was a view of a parking lot which left us very disappointed. We would’ve been happy to pay more if we would’ve know that this is what side sea view actually meant. The staff did not mention finish time of the dinner, which left us with little time to explore the buffets which was a shame.

Super location, nicely laid out hotel, room was excellent and the view from balcony was excellent . Every member of staff were really helpful, we spoke no Dutch but they were all great and spoke good English. Hotel was so clean and chilled, has a very relaxed feel about it

The billing process and miscommunication between Booking.com and the hotel reception was not very pleasant, which created a bad atmosphere between us and the hotal staff. Especially on our wedding anniversary celebration. A special thanks to the hotel manager for finally recognising the error and for resolving the situation.We booked with Booking.com as a couple for one night but the Hotel insisted that the room price was only for one Guest. Which caused alot of unneeded discussions and arguments with the staff.

Gorgeous location with spectacular view over the beach, sea and sunset. Newly renovated in 2024, rooms and all facilities are wonderfully decorated and super practical. The Skybar and rooftop terrace are unique - would have never left lol. Staff is kind and helpful.

Softer mattress than my personal preference, but still good.

The view from the deck, the drinks and the breakfast were great. We arrived late from a really long drive and enjoyed the deck, the sea breeze and a nice cocktail.

Sauna was not private, and it’s a common area too. Parking was scarce, not enough parking within the property premises.

The hotel has very good location. Staff was nice, but everything took a long time to solve. The room was big, clean. Only the balcony was full of sand.The restaurant was great. There was a bufé for dinner full of local meals. The lookout from the restaurant was directly at a sundown over the sea, which was amazing.

Hotel is surrounded by public parking, so at any picture there are lot of cars everywhere. There was only one receptionist at a time and we spent a lot of time in the queue every time we needed to pay something or to manage something. Noise from the corridor was heard in the room in the night. Noise from other bathrooms was heard.

It's pretty much a perfect hotel since the renovation, large rooms amazing views, easy parking, amazing breakfast. The beach is beautiful, the hotel itself can't be faulted.

I'm not a fan of buffet style eating for dinner the smell from the industry presumably in IJmuiden (Tata or Lindegas?) was quite notable.

I want to write a very long review…. For my fellow moslim people…(I am Christian but my family in laws are from Iran… and many of my friends are moslim)…. So you will have a good understanding of this hotel……. The hotel rooms are ok…. But I am obsessive cleaner and still saw some dust and hair on the floor…. So i asked if it was allowed if I did extra vacuum cleaning…. And it was allowed….. i have also worked in hotel before so i know how much pressure there is on housekeeping….. and yes it was clean…. But not obsessive clean….. ???……. Also the shower…. There is no water stop treshold…. So all the water comes in whole the bathroom…. Also very small shower cabin….. if you want to do a body scrub treatment for yourself like i did than very less space………I always have mood for that during traveling….also the handshower was not working properly…. But big shower head was working good…. Than the fitness area it was very nice ??. But I missed a bench for bench press……. Than for my fellow moslim people ……i absolutely do not recommend this hotel if you love sauna….. its naked and I know that’s not allowed in you’re culture….. my partner is from Iran… so i know in his culture also not allowed……I was wearing 2 meter towel…. And cover no whole my body…… I spoke to a few woman there….. and all of them felt very uncomfortable in the sauna area….they also wearing big towel like me to cover their privacy parts ….. and they did not like to be naked……I think it’s not ok… to ask this from hotel guest….. especially because you lock out a very big part of the human population…… from many cultures it’s not even allowed….. but also the men used towel to cover their privacy parts most of them… and looked uncomfortable…… off course I don’t talk to the men and asked because that’s not ok!! ???……I have been to intell hotel Utrecht….. there is sauna and swimmingpool and it is with swimclothes……. And Van der Valk…..
