Really excellent standard of hotel for the price. Gorgeous room with an excellent sea view, set back from the road so quiet. Nice pool area with plenty of seating. Very well equipped gym which was empty every time I used it. Secure and well equipped room for bikes. And a tasty breakfast, attended by ample friendly staff.A very well run hotel.

AC in the gym was on request, which felt a bit of a faff. Not too bad in October but it would probably get very hot in there in the summer. Also no water provided in there. Not a major issue, but could be improved.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the mini bar was fully stocked. We had a room to the front and the ocean views were amazing. I loved the breakfast because the hot bar changed every day and there were so many healthy options. Since we rented bikes I really appreciated the room downstairs for bike storage and maintenance. there was even a washer and dryer there and a place outside to clean your bike. The hotel is walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and they even have food there if you don't feel like going out. there are a couple supermarkets close by and the ocean is right across the street. would definitely recommend and come back

The only thing that I didn't like was that we couldn't open a window in our room. The only option for fresh air was to keep the balcony door wide open (to me that is not an option during the night). The other tiny thing to complain about are the showers, it's only half glass/ half open so when you are done showering the whole bathroom floor is pretty much wet ?

I book for a Seaview room and they gave a a Seaside view room, big difference in terms of room size and the view. When I clarified the next day regarding my booking…they just said “ oh we don’t have an available Seaview room today, will reserve it for you tomorrow “ I made my reservation 3 or 4 months in advance and they are telling me there is no available Seaview room. No apologies offered, no refund offered for the 2 nights that we stayed on a wrong room. So be careful when you make your booking.

The location and breakfast choices. Plus the staff were fantastic, friendly and efficient.

The standard room photo was nothing like the room we were initially given (this was in the adjacent building, not the main hotel). We were on the ground floor with no outside seating space, doors opened up onto a gravel area opposite a wall. This made the room very dark and depressing. Reception were quick to help move us, but we did end up paying extra. We then had the perfect sea view, so worth the additional cost.

excellent room, spotlessly clean as ever. Buffet is excellent with wide range of choices. Could do better in having some more vegetarian and or vegan options

not a deal breaker as only occasional use but ability to tune in room TV to language of choice or country TV

Very good breakfast but no milk jugs next to tea point,so lots of walking about.Then your table is cleared when you return to it.

First week I had booked sea view room but it turned out to be one of only a couple of seabird rooms with no balcony or sun terrace

Beautiful location a perfect view and everything was perfect the staff made it even more perfect- especially the amazing reception team. I was having some much needed me time and they made the stay feel special

My first room was near the lift and was a little noisy the reception team resolved my issues with no bother and couldn’t have looked after me better

Excellent food options, breakfast and dinner really cannot fault at all. External poolside lounge area really pleasant too, rooftop plunge pool and terrace also superb.

Maybe 5mins walk shy of town, but no big deal still right on the promenade. Unfortunatley think the room we were given spoiled our trip some, 4 nights without sleep being right above a noisy kitchen banging doors and hotel toilet area really drained us, genuinely think rooms 170 and 171 should be day rooms/late check out options, really not suitable for sleeping overnight, and no balcony.

This was our fourth visit to this lovely hotel and no doubt we will make further holiday visits

We thought that the evening meal offered too many choices and there seemed to be much food not taken/wasted by the end of the evening. At times it seemed that quality had been sacrificed for quantity.

Nice and friendly. Good location. Great buffet breakfast and dinner ideally suited to a group of cyclists. Special locked garage with padlocks for storing bikes.

Sea view from the room we moved to on day 4 was perfect.

The highly disappointing room we had before our request to move. Dark room, lots of ants, poor temperature in shower.The ground floor rooms should not be classed and costed as sea view.

We felt the hotel wasn’t really finished from its refurb.. men putting up wallpaper, a leak in the foyer with water dripping onto the reception , the dining room only half light one evening and we had two nights with no hot water at bed time. The bedroom wasn’t not tidied well with just the lightest flick over of the floor and bedcovers pulled too. Bathroom not really tidy. The bath towels had nowhere to dry without having new ones each day. Good buffet dinners and breakfast in huge rather soulless dining room. Nice sitting/ lying terrace outside with half filled pool. Husband said excellent sauna etc.. so we felt getting there but not quite ready!

We arrived on 1st day of opening and they were still painting and cleaning also the toilets by reception were not finished no light switches or hand dryers just missing sockets

Amazing hotel and location

Below us there was the breakfast area. We could hear the music when they started the breakfast at 7 or 7.30 am.

310 is a large room, basically for handicapped/wheelchair user, so large bathroom with large level shower. A terrace that has a side view of the port, and is sunny later in the day for drinks before dinner

The wardrobe was not fitted, and a bit makeshift. It was situated in a corner which was difficult to use properly as the wall mounted TV was to the left of it which made it awkward to open the sliding door.There were two wall mounted glass shelves in the bathroom, which would cause you serious injury if you slipped and fell into them. It should have a fitted wood cabinet for shelving.We asked for a 2 hour late checkout, but would have been charged 70€. We declined and asked another receptionist later and had a 1 hour extension free.
