We had a fantastic stay here. Lovely room, amenities and staff. Will absolutely come back.

Unfortunately we seemed to have one of the only TVs in the hotel that didn't have netflix, etc. which considering it rained for 4.5 out of the 7 days we were there would have been nice. But we managed and enjoyed every day anyway!

Very convenient, quiet location, 10 minutes walk to St Gilgen, beautiful view from the room (lakeside), spacious room, comfortable beds.

The hotel provided a great range of amenities, including a well-maintained tennis court, free paddle boarding, and paddle boats, which made the stay both active and enjoyable. The lake access and the view were stunning. The villa’s historical background added charm, and the staff were friendly.

The food options were limited and didn’t quite meet expectations. I would not choose the dining experience there. There was also no service by the lake, so if you wanted a drink, you had to go to the bar and bring it down yourself.

Very nice hotel with a wonderful view!! Although we had some rainy weather, we were able to do very nice walks in the surroundings with astonishing views. The staff at the hotel were very helpful giving us recommendations.

    Everything was great!

Wonderful lake view from 3F room and private lake desk to enjoy the sunshine and view.

No AC condition in the room, when I open windows to cool down in the night, the smoking from next room balcony made me and kid felt bad. Because it is allows to smoking on the balcony.

We loved everything! It all started with an exceptional staff who gave us a wonderful welcome, prepared a high-standard room for us, and even arranged a birthday surprise for my wife at my request. The breakfast was excellent, and it continued with the amazing location, stunning views, and a quiet, pleasant town that’s a real joy to explore. Everything was perfect – highly recommended!

Our stay was amazing, they were waiting for us although we came really late for a check in. A clean room with fresh air inside and a wonderful breakfast, in a quiet corner at the sea in shore made our stay really a wonderful experience. We really loved it.

The property is stylish, luxurious, expansive, well maintained and includes excellent parking. The reception and restaurant staff were very courteous and efficient. The room itself was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet included an outstanding selection of savoury and sweet offerings. Coffee was great. The local environment is very quiet and feels safe, and the town of St Gilgen is quaint and beautiful. Our room had magnificent views of Wolfgangsee. Make sure that you travel up to Mount Zwölferhorn on the cable car for some spectacular views of the surrounding regions. Overall, this is a superb property that is also great value for money.

    Nothing - all great.

Nice view of the lake and good breakfast

Parking was very difficult and no A/C in the rooms so during work days was difficult to sleep without air conditioning

Beautiful huge room with view over the lake, very comfortable, great breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Very quiet location and perfect for hiking.

I loved the old world feel of the hotel and the fabulous view from our balcony.

The food was barely average. Breakfast was included, and we paid for lunch.

    9AlbertPosted on: 10-15-2024

Classy clean and beautiful place by the lake. Room was huge and with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains surrounding it.

Breakfast is kind of basic. Not bad but not really outstanding (no toaster for example)

    10LeiPosted on: 10-12-2024

Wonderful see view and kindly service. Breakfast and dinner are both good. They also prepared a bag with all things for swimming.

    10CarolinePosted on: 10-8-2024

This hotel was sensational! The view from the room of the lake and mountains is spectacular. It’s better than the pictures on the web site! The room is spacious and so is the bathroom with a beautiful bath!! I loved the little sitting area in the room with gorgeous couch and chair. The little terrace was perfect to sit out on to admire the view! The staff were very welcoming and so were the cleaning staff. Gave us extra pillows. Breakfast was great too!

    We had to go home!

    7TheepanPosted on: 9-1-2024

Lovely views from the Lake View suites onto the lake.

This hotel is a little overpriced for what you get. They are charging 5* prices for 3/4* service. There were no kettle or coffee making facilities in the rooms. No shower gel provided. Breakfast selection was poor. Coffee machine was out of service on our second day so we were only offered filtered coffee. All these things need to improve to justify the prices.

    8ArjunPosted on: 8-27-2024

Large breakfast buffet with good quality food.Well located near the lake and all other facilities at walking distance.

Bit understaffed so service was a bit behind sometimes at busy hours. Personnel present worked hard to compensate.
