We really enjoyed the quiet location on top of the cliff and the beautiful mountain views from our balcony. The spa was excellent, the food was very good, and the hotel staff were friendly and professional. We would definitely love to come back again in the summer!

The property is very beautiful and spotless clean, the location in amazing on top of the cliff, the food is very good, staff and owner very nice and professional.The spa is well equipped and very clean as well. The hotel is quiet at night, no party or noise to bother at night.I highly recommend to stay here.

Good swimming pool with panoramic view.Perfect outdoor jacuzz, but wort only from 12:00. Big parking. Clean room. Ski room.

Sstayed for three nights in February, booked through booking, arrived late at the reception, there was no one there, the keys were left under the carpet. In the morning it turned out that we had to change rooms, the hotel owner was quite unfriendly, said we had to change rooms, and it was not his problem, that “booking” did not let us know , and did not even help to move the luggage. His wife at the reception is also quite unfriendly, does not know English.This is definitely not 4 stars:•there is no mini bar in the room•there is no refrigerator•there is no kettle/coffee maker•the toilet paper in the rooms is not new, but just folded, already started•there is no laundry service•the employees do not speak English, and just start speaking German louder so that you can hear them. •the hotel does not have large blankets, if suddenly you are a couple, and you want to sleep under one•breakfast is monotonous and the same every day•you cannot choose a table to sit at, the table is fixed for you for the entire stay by the staff •some of the rooms, which are located towards the utility block, have very loud sounds from goats in the morning, from cleaning in the morning it is at 6!! And again, the owner says that this is not his problem•it is also strange that the maids do not knock when they want to start cleaning, but simply open the room with their key. •sauna is only open from 14 to 19, it is very small •there is no room service. •during my stay, I wrote a review on Google, and instead of somehow correcting the situation during the eviction, the owner ran out of his office and said that I should correct the review, behaved aggressively

We came by road bike. When we booked we didn’t realize that the hotel is not at the bottom of the valley, but on top of a 200m climb. If you have good and fresh legs is not a problem, but be aware of this (or ask for a transfer)

Location was very beautiful. Spa was great. Food everyday was nice and lots of variation.

Closet knubs were proben in most rooms. Only one toilet was a bit too little for our family. In our 2 bedroom suite we did not however have any glasses exluding the ones in toilet (in our other room the was a caraffe of fresh water everyday). We arrived really late and could not attend the dinner, for which we had paid. I called upfront and asked if it was possible to reserve us a bun and cheese instead in our room - but it was not possible. It would really have made our trip more comfortable after travelling 8 hours.

A beautiful hotel with a family atmosphere,excellent gastronomy,original spa and professional staff.

The Hotel was almost to ourselves travelling in the 2nd week of January. There were around 10 couples in the entire hotel, so we had spa area to ourselves most the time. Meals were delicious and beautifully prepared and presented.

Coffee didn't taste good, the mattresses were a bit too hard, the duvets were synthetic anti-allergy type. Drinks were expensive. The location is a bit off the beaten track and a 5min drive to the nearest ski-bus station.

I only had problem with the pillows - one very small and another is way too big... A medium size soft would be ideal :-)

I was looking for something special for my parents for a romantic holiday. This place was definitely the best choice. First of all the location is amazing. From the wellness u have a perfect view of the mountains. My parents were amazed. The rooms are super comfortable, large enough, nice view and they pay attention on every little detail. So in the wellness section, all the time warm towels, refreshments, snacks and so on. And the restaurant is just even better, every day an other concept, with different plates, amazing foods. Real fine dining. The staff is also super kind and helpful. My parents had an amazing time there.

Everything was just perfect! Amaizing view , the location is modern, very clean, the staff is lovely, the food was more then enough. I highly recommend Burgstein hotel because " Everything is just perfect up there ! "

Everything great, room, restaurant, food swimming pool with amazing views. Very relaxed atmosphere, lovely location.

A fairly large spa complex, a large selection of saunas, an extremely clean pool. A beautiful view from the spa area. Amazing high-end restaurant-style dinners. Homemade food. High quality staff, ski room. Snacks during the day.

Bad coffee, beds were worn out, queen bed made of two separate mattresses, fitness zone has really bad trainers. Old part of the hotel needs restoration. All drinks are paid during dinner, no exeption.

The location was great, very quite, peaceful and surrounded by nature and mountains.The restaurant offers a various choice of food for breakfast and also the dinner menu was delicious.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi water temperature was too cold for the winter season.

No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in room.
