FERGUS Conil Park

Staff were fab. Breakfast was ok but after standing in line 3dayd in a row for the outlet station I finally realized nobody was going to come to cook! I guess they think it looks good or something. Very disappointing.

The buffet dinner food was really bad. Big chasing dishes full of cold soggy food. You can't expect fried food (gyozas? Fries? Egg rolls?) to stay crisp when they're piled up. That never works. The house wine is terrible quality for almost €5 a glass. I would have asked to taste it first but the staff were already overworked.In checkout there was a charge of €56 on my bill. For two dinners the night I arrived. NOT mine. How does this mistake happen? Careless & shoddy.

Excellent location, close to the beach and town center, but quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, but there was no coffeemaker. They have an amazing breakfast buffet, a nice pool with a bar, and an amazing ocean view.

The balcony has a solid wall, so even if you have an ocean view room, you can't really enjoy the view while sitting, glass or metal railing would've been much nicer.

It looked better in person than in Booking photos. Staff is super polite and there is no bad thing about the whole place. Beach was super magical for us, we will definitely come back to this place.

The location of the hotel was perfect! We had beautiful views from our room. All staff from the hotel were fantastic specially as it was a special gather celebrating our grandparents 60th anniversary.

Great location, quick walk down to the beach and into town. Good restaurants right nearby. Nice pool.

Rooms had been renovated but still had an old fashioned feeling and were quite small. Pool only open from 11am.

Well located (although a bit of a walk to the beach I think) Room good , (included) breakfast good , pool and surrounding area good. Evening (buffet style) meal good and fair value. Secure parking(underground) at a charge. Staff friendly and helpful.

The entertainment wasn't great. Only on for a short while and very 'Spanish' (yes , I know I was in Spain but it was an 'international audience' - English music does seem to transcend different cultures and languages better than Spanish does imho ;-) Evening drinks and entertainment are held in the Pool Bar which is fine on a nice evening but a bit chilly when its windy and raining in October. Smoking seemed to be allowed in the pool bar as well.

Lovely roof top jacuzzi with great outlook over the pool and sea. Staff were so nice and the kids pool was a hit with our grandchildren. Buffet breakfast was brilliant, a great selection of food. A short walk to the old town and town centre, it was in a great location.

The location is amazing. Close enough to walk to the town and to the wonderful beach.

We had been to the hotel before. That time we hadn't prebooked and thought we were given the last rooms available, which were still decorated in 70's/80's style furniture etc. To my surprise and disappointment, our room was exactly as before. I know we are paying for the location, but to advertise and charge as a 4 star hotel was surprising. Staff and cleanliness were excellent.

Great views from our bedroom of the beach, dinner and breakfast buffet was amazing but over crowded for breakfast. Pool area and bar was very nice and nice views. Our bedroom was amazing , we loved the hot tub and thank you so much for the complimentary champagne for his birthday ?.We shall revisit again soon. x

Great location just a couple of minutes to the beach and a few minutes further into Conil. We were able to easily park for free on the street outside the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and we were delighted to find out we had been upgraded to a room with a roof terrace upon check in. The beach at Conil is fantastic, with many great beach serving exceptional food. The hotel wasn’t too busy while we were there, but which gave it a lovely, relaxed feel.

The location is perfect for the town centre and the beach. Comfortable hotel with everything we needed. Reasonably priced.

My room was very old where as my friend was in another room which was all renovated and much nicer

Excellent location, clean, very friendly and extremely helpful staff. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of everything we could want.

Room was a bit small for 3 people, no hooks nor shelves in the bathroom and a bit noisy as were just by the pool

Great location just outside Conil de la Frontera. 10 minutes' walk. Well designed low level complex around a beautiful pool area sourround by well kept serene gardens. Our garden / sea view room was spacious with a big bathroom and a small terrace. We chose this room with breakfast. Delicious and varied breakfast offered via a served buffet and the possibility to eat in an adjoining garden terrace. Super helpful reception for advising on car parking, where to eat and horseriding.

I really can't see the point in poolside bingo. Too noisy and distracting.There's a lot of elderly northern European tourists.But I would definitely go back!

The facilities a great. Clean and big. The housekeeping staff are excellent and so polite, as were the reception staff. The local beach is great and easy to get to. The walk into Conil every night was a daily highlight. The pool is kept clean and plenty of space to rest and relax.

We decided to rebook at Fergus given the info on the site said the Conil hotel had entertainment for children. However, there was no mini-disco or the children's club was not open. This is not what was expected. Unfortunately, we felt slightly excluded from any other adult events. We were one of the few non-Spanish or non-German families there (half Italian, half Australian), and not once were we approached to participate in a poolside game or other event. I did make us feel a little excluded which was a shame as we loved our prior experiences at Fergus in Palma.Food options at the buffet were limited as well, with not many traditional dishes. I would have hoped for higher quality and authentic options available. Finally, the lack of shuttle services on offer, with not great. Other Fergus parks have collaborations with transport companies, or could provide detailed information. All we got was "sorry we do not offer transfers. Please get a cab or book a bus"

We had a wonderful stay. Hotel is great with beautiful view. Beach and city center just few minutes away. We especially liked restaurant - food was great and menu changing from day to day. People working in hotel were really friendly and helpful. Rooms where cleaned every day. Excellent - would return again.

Just a small detail. Bothroom was missing hangers or shelf - there were nowhere where to put/hang your clothes or towel when entering shower.
