Everything. The staff are wonderful; the rooms are very comfortable and the food is excellent. They are also very dog friendly.

Bedroom door opens out to the walkway by the Douro river. Staff was very accommodating of late check-out as our appointment at a nearby winery ran late. Enjoyed the informality of the front desk folks.

Building's public interior spaces a little rundown and dated.

A charming hotel with warm, attentive staff. The modern, spacious design seamlessly blends with the surrounding nature. Ideally located for exploring the Ribera del Duero region. A highlight of the stay is the hotel's award-winning restaurant – lunch and dinner here are a must. The dishes are simply delicious, complemented by an outstanding selection of wines, and sommelier Juan ensures every aspect of your dining experience is exceptional. A truly memorable stay!

It was a pity the chimney in the main hall did not work.

Nice boutique hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant has very tasty dishes and is not overpriced. Parking is available and free ( uncovered).

We had a great meal in the restaurant and they were very accomodating, allowing us to bring some wine that we had bought at the local vineyard. We also enjoyed the breakfast.Staff were friendly enough and offered good advice on vineyard visits.

The hotel lacked atmosphere and the room smelled of damp. Despite advertising that every room has a river view, they didn't really, as the undergrowth and trees obscured the view from the rooms. There was a communal terrace outside our room, but nowhere to sit nearby, apart from a stone bench that was too cold to sit on in October. I would have expected a couple of chairs and small table outside our room. The room was adequate but not really of 'boutique' standard.

The architecture was great. The food was nice. The staff was kind and helped us with fixing some food when we arrived Monday afternoon (restaurant was surprisingly closed Monday evening). The room was spacious and clean. Our dog was welcomed with bowls for food & water.

The wall between the rooms wasn’t soundproof so we could easily hear our neighbors. The restaurant was closed for dinner on Mondays which we don’t believe was written clearly enough in the hotel description on booking.com

Clean and unique setting. Loved the river views and wonderful onsite breakfast.

Beds and linen, personnel, nature, restaurant

There are no private terraces or balconies though it’s in room description

We enjoyed the surrounding and style of the hotel. The restaurant has a gourmet selection of dishes, recommended to try when you’re there!

It is a nice small hotel with great location and friendly staff

the rooms are a little old fashioned, a small renovation would improve a lot

The hotel is well appointed in a lovely spot next to the Duero river. Staff ( we only met one ) were friendly and helpful.

The town itself is disappointing with little to offer. We had requested to book for dinner but on arrival we’re told the restaurant was closed. We were recommended a local restaurant which was also closed so we had to grab a snack at the only bar in town ( not great ).

    Restaurant with all meal-types.

The wifi in our room was barely useful (no coverage).

    8MartinPosted on: 5-19-2024

Pleasant view if river , quality food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner.

    10LeonardoPosted on: 5-7-2024

Excellent service. The hotel has an excellent restaurant. The location is perfect, really close to all the good wineries in the region.

    10CristinaPosted on: 3-29-2024

The minimalistic but cozy and modern style, the location by the river, the kind staff, the evening restaurant (gorgeous food) listening to the birds in the morning.

The pillow was too thick and hard for me.
