Accommodating reception. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Clean room. Comfortable bed and linens. Wake up calls for Northern lights sightings. Overall amazing everything!

Would have liked a facial wash cloth.

Excellent hotel close to the lake and out in nature. Away from the main road so quiet. Nice design for the rooms. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Easy to park, and get to places of interest.

Limited space to store or hang clothes

Everything was great - incredible stay. Beautiful design, friendly staff, nice common area, gorgeous location. Chill.

If this place had a geothermal tub it’d be 10/10. Room is small but cozy and workable.

Close to Lake Myvatn and the room was upgraded to the lake view. Aurora was oberserved at night.

Location is fantastic, on a slight rise looking over Lake Myvatn. The views out of the windows are stunning.We saw the North Lights, whilst we were there. You can choose to have someone knock on the door, if / when they are visible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I accidentally left some shoes there and they went put of their way to find them.Breakfast was lovely..

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and always with positive attitude. They were helpful with all our enquiries. Room was spacious, clean and with nice view. Dood at the restaurant was really good too

Good staff, hotel was clean and comfortable. Nice location. Northern lights alerts. Room a bit on the small side, but was comfortable.

Regarding the small size of the room, I think they could have spent a little money when it was built for a regular night stand on either side of the bed instead of the small metal shelf attached to the wall. Same in the bathroom. Have a shelf surrounding the sink (which was also very small and was easy to splash water onto the floor), instead of the stacked shelves, which were also quite small.

Amazing views from room and property. Excellent dinner at the restaurant... Probably the best meal we had in Iceland. Northern lights were putting on a show all night with great views from hotel property and even our room. Staff even has a northern lights wake up calls (by request) which is a thoughtful touch

Wish they had a hot tub ?

Everything from check-in, to the hotel breakfast to room cleanliness was amazing very quick and easy no hassle went in had a great time and went out

Great location, very comfortable with good lobby seating areas. Nice happy hour when we arrived. Excellent dinner - definitely recommend! And breakfast was very good!

Convenient location to explore the sights in the lake Myvatn area. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was amazing

What a gorgeous, elegant hotel! The staff was wonderful - so helpful and warm - at check-in and at our meals.The rooms were really nice and the views of Mývatn were beautiful. The roofs were planted with grass which was a lovely, traditional touch. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast. The location was perfect for every Mývatn hot spot. This was our favorite hotel in Iceland.

This isn't really a reflection of the hotel per se, but our dinner seemed overpriced. It was delicious, but it was much more than we are used to paying at home and abroad.

Comfortable room, great facilities, and friendly staff

Room temperature was extremely hot. We tried adjusting it but had no luck.

It was a beautiful location and room too awesome views out the window. Food at breakfast was exceptional as was dinner.
