The view from our room was great. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The sauna is refreshing after a long day hiking and sightseeing. There is a nice trail outside the hotel as well.

Great atmosphere. The hotel has several stylish and comfortable gathering areas, including a classy bar lounge area. Food was amazing.

Pictures give the impression it is located on the lake, but it is across the main road.

The room was spacious, clean and functional. The coat rack right by the room entrance made hanging all the jackets very conveniently. Great view in the restaurant and scrumptious breakfast.

Expensive. Not as good a value as some hotels we stayed. Food was good but not great.

Standard hotel room and a modern hotel. Walls and ceiling a bit thin so that the “elephants” upstairs woke us up one day

Just on the highway…Rooms were too warm. Had to leave the door open. No thermostat or way to adjust the temperature.

Beautiful facility, friendly staff, excellent food.

Poorly regulated water temperature in shower. Water kept running hot and cold.Also the bedsheet was very rough. Not sure if it was sheet or mattress cover.

Sauna floor had lots of water but no mat or floor covering, so became very slippery. Bathtub in room was very slippery. Expensive. Lots of small gnats in parking lot.

This hotel is totally worth it. We spent two nights and didn’t want to leave! Also, breakfast was amazing

Great location. Room and bathroom excellent. Very nice bar, outdoor patio and restaurant.

We had adjoining rooms with our three sons ages 18-23. I liked that they each had their own bed instead of a pull out sofa. Shower was hot with good pressure. We faced the parking lot side which wasn’t a huge deal because we were essentially only there to sleep. We had a door out to the smallest balcony I’ve ever seen. Just big enough to stand on it. We kept the window and door open for a while to cool the room off until we noticed all the midges coming in! Plus we could smell people smoking outside…staff was friendly and check-in and out was smooth. We chose to include breakfast and it was wonderful. Many options from pastries, breads, yogurt, fruit, smoked salmon, and hot items like scrambled eggs, bacon, and fried eggs. We had dinner there which was good but very $$$$. I think it’s the most we spent ever on dinner but admittedly we did indulge a bit getting a cocktail and dessert.

On the expensive side
