    Pros +

    • Absolutely beautiful location, our room had views from 2 different windows to the beach and ocean. Our room was private and roomy and had a homey feel like staying at a cottage at the beach.
    • Large rooms and large windows hardwood floors and updated electrical controls
    • Arimune is a gem. The location is truly exceptional, and the atmosphere of this small, family-run boutique hotel makes you feel like the guest experience is at the heart of everything they do. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, offering exactly what you need to relax. The breakfast is outstanding — natural, locally sourced products prepared with care. The person serving breakfast is incredibly nice and genuinely dedicated, which adds an even more personal touch to the stay.

    Cons -

    • There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.
    • I genuinely have nothing bad to say. A wonderful place that I would happily return to.
    • Goofy lighting and power to the room system. When you turn off the lights, it turns off power to the nightstand plug so you can't charge items...

Amazing place! Clean, well organized, large room, nicely decorated, comfortable common area with coffee/tea and the big dining table. Very friendly and responsive personnel. Great view and the passage straight to the beach. There is a big parking in 2-minutes walking distance

Beautiful building, amazingly renovated using original timbers, stone and flooring, lovely helpful staff in AM and PM. Gorgeous view of the ocean and a nice common raised veranda facing the ocean for guest use. Did not have 20€ pp breakfast.

Goofy lighting and power to the room system. When you turn off the lights, it turns off power to the nightstand plug so you can't charge items...

The hospitality was is all situations great. We enjoyed our breakfast and of course the location was perfect, right on the beach. Our room was spacious and very nicely done, with a lounging area looking onto the beach. Everything was clean with a spacious shower. Ask for room 34!

I would guess many guests like us leave on a Monday morning, it would have been nice to have breakfast available on that day. It was easy enough however to go down the street as we left to the bakery. Really what we did not like is not anything you could remedy... the faceless hotels surrounding you!

Beautiful finishes- great character, seems family run- which I like.

If other guests wake at 5:45 and smoke cigarettes and you have the window open to hear the ocean and get fresh air- you will be awake also and your room will smell like cigarettes.

We had a nice big room, the hotel is perfectly located near restaurants and supermarket and most of all very very close to the fantastic Bakio beach, 1 minute walking Just one minor thing, the hotel is not easily identifiable on arrival. I would love to go back

What a beautiful hotel! An exquisitely renovated historic family home on a lovely beach. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff (including family) are so kind and welcoming. A truly relaxing space with common areas both inside and outside. Highly recommend!

You exit and jump to the sea :). Staff very polite and location is amazing

This was our third time staying at Hotel Arimune. A rustic former family home sympathetically converted into a delightful boutique hotel overlooking Bakio's beautiful beach. We were warmly welcomed back by the owners and all the staff and kindly given a lovely free breakfast for our loyalty (highly recommend the generous breakfasts - the co-owner is a professional chef). We always have a wonderful time here. Would highly recommend.

Everything. Sleeping next to that beach was amazing. Kept the windows open and had the ocean sounds sing me to sleep!

    Everything was great!

Location - wonderful access to beach and nearby attraction. Staff was friendly and very accommodating - let us use wine glasses from dining area in our room. Breakfast was inviting eating with other guests on one long table. Plenty of breakfast foods to choose from. Ocean view from our room was lovely. Good shower and comfy bed. Great place to stay!

A little hard to figure out where the entrance to the Hotel is.

Stunning hotel. Very nice finishes. Excellent beds and linen. Straight on the beach. Good online communication with staff.

There is not always staff around. We asked for a bit earlier checkin and were told we could drop our bags and were asked to leave again and come back at 15:00. Owners/front office staff is not very engaged. Did not ask how our stay was. The town itself is very run down. Lot of high rising old flats/buildings. There is not much to do if you don't have a car.

People who cooked breakfast were very friendly and careful and cooked it very tasty

Transparent doors to the bathroom - i don't know what the idea was behind that

This is an exquisite fourth generation family hotel. A warm Basque welcome awaits all from Olatz and Unai. Looking forward to our return.

Clean and cozy, with very friendly staff at the front desk and in the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and recharging vacation.
