Complejo La Ciguena Hotel

This stay was such good value for money - rooms, enormous, bathroom big and some extra seating, fridge, safe and other facilities - I guess you don't always expect in a bungalow in a 'holiday park'. Very well equipped. Breakfast was delicious, comprehensive and included in the price. Also, a free parking space was included! The surroundings was also lovely inside the park, even though we didn't get to walk around the grounds enough and we didn't get to use the pool.

As mentioned, this is not a hotel, but even so and sort of understandable, the only negative is that cleanliness lacked a bit.

poor maintenance, dark rooms ,broken curtains , no room calling device, far reception if u need anything you have to walk a lot 1000m, no golf cars transportation, nobody help to get in the room with you bags15m to bring your bags to the room no even way to roll your bags you have to carry it yourself, no room service, far and limited restaurant time and foodlike a prison

Calm, safe, away from the city, many singing birds around, no "ciguenhas" at all.It's a get away from the stress and good to relax.The staff it's not nice, the breakfast experience is "just another one" and the tables are not even ready to be used, without cups, glasses and so on. Everything is rushed and taken around 20min before the ending time, if you want anything else after 11Am, even coffee, it's paid apart.In the room, it's a comfortable bed and pillows with clean blankets. The air conditioning takes a while to set the room for the right temperature.Bathroom is clean but needed some maintenance works.Swimming pool not available and under maintenance, and lacks some entertainment for the kids.

Location was great. Staff were kind enough to move our booking without a charge. Breakfast selection was great. Parking facilities were very good. Bed was super comfy.

We were told to wait in the bar before we could check in, which was fine - however, the restaurant was closed for dinner and they were unable to serve us food at lunch as we hadn’t booked a table, there were tables available and others came in after us without booking and were fed. We resorted to having to get a pizza delivered to our room. The room itself looked fantastic but had the most overpowering smell of wet dog that just got under your skin. Breakfast was included and was a good selection but hot food just not quite hot enough.

A lovely large wooden bungalow with fridge for your wine,great bathroom, nice little terrace outside,comfortable beds and good breakfast.

Directions or map to find the complex would have helped.

The breakfast, included in the price, was very good. Spacious cabin, very hot water in the shower.

We were there in February, def not recommended. The bar restaurant closed at 6pm, so no facilities whatsoever after then. The air-conditioning worked but we were still freezing cold all night with only one thin sheet provided.

The location, it was 20 minutes from Madrid by car which was great and the breakfast buffet, a lot of choice and good hours. The bungalow was of perfect size.

The smell in the room, it smelled like cheese or feet and it would not go away.

Terrible sewer smell and inside the bungalows, they tried to blame the stench inside the bungalows to the Brazilian wood they were made of, the restaurant is made of the same wood and it doesn’t stink. And there’s a terrible sewer system and stinks to poop all day long.

Although there was no1 at at 24hour reception when i arrived, (drove for ages in the dark and nobody answered the calls!) the staff were very good and amazing breakfast in the morning.

Checking in should have more communication so customers dont get lost. Although I'd informed them of late check in, (i was assured someone is there 24x7) nobody was present and didnt answer calls or msgs. It was not clearly visible where to go as it was Dark and nobody was about. They should have someone answer the calls or liase with customers.

Location was easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Accommodation is worn, could do with a refresh. Wasn't as nice as the photos looked

No instructions for the air conditioning/heaters. Only one restaurant open and the pool was closed due to the time of year. This was not mentioned in our completed booking

This location is convenient for overnight before flight out of Madrid as it is only 25 min drive to airport. We chose the location for proximity to airport and a quiet, rural, location for good nights rest before early morning flight. This is basically a camp site style resort with cabins and facilities for events. It does have a restaurant and the grounds are pretty and well maintained.

There was a wedding or group event the night we stayed and they apparently had band/DJ that went until 7am. Despite a really large, spread out resort, the music was super loud in our cabin. Would have been better if staff had let us know that there would be an all night event - we just kept waiting for the loud music to end and it didn't until 7am- we had to leave at 7:30am for airport so no real rest for us.The rooms also had a VERY fragrant diffuser that we had to put outside because it was so overpowering

It's near Parque Warner.It has good facilities.It's in the middle of the nature.It's near shopping facilities.

There was a problem with a bad smell in the room, reported twice and not solved.It was 4 days sleeping with an awfull smell in the room with two small children.The trash wasn't even collected every day.

room was very basic but ok

the breakfast was a bit disappointing , the hot food was alway cold , the hot plates do not work ,that was very disappointing , i had to keep getting it put in the microwave to get it heated up. hot drinks machine only did coffee , no hot chocolate and I always had to queue for the machine , you need 2 machines , some natural yogurt would have been a nice touch as all the fruit was nice , perhaps some muesli would have been nice as the hot breakfast was not hot , pool was excellent but unfortunately very green , needs cleaning more regular and the children's pool needs filling

The place was a beauty, the location out bound, great!, breakfast was plenty and good, in general the place was absolutely gorgeous!

but one of our beds was noisy and didn't let us sleep the first night, they changed the bed at the next day, still was with some noise, but we could sleep better than the day before. The cleaner didn't clean the floor in our bathroom the 2 day but we didn't mention it, because we were leaving.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was fair but the bed could be better. My bed sqeeked.

The out side lights were too bright for sleeping and therefore i could not have the windows open for outside air when sleeping.

Everything. Super cute cabin. Shower had lights and radio. Each cabin had a porch with table and chairs. Staff friendly helpful. Breakfast at restaurant had great views. Food was excellent eggs, bacon, meat, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, pastries, coffee and juice.

Work going on behind our cabin but really didn't bother. Heater had trouble getting right but got it finally. Prefer bacon crispy but that seems the way it's done. Really not much to criticize.

Very unique and quirky. Enjoyed the location

Nearly everything was closed so no activities or anything to do. Disappointed pool was closed despite temps in high 20’s.
