Very friendly service staff. Clean room.
It is a cute small hotel

The location was amazing. Such a beautiful view from the window. Staff were very friendly and helped us get checked in early when they heard they my daughter was sleeping in the car. I really appreciated this as it was a long journey there (flight + drive + wait) and really nice to check in early
Nothing worth noting. It is a charming town and a nice accommodation :) Staff were accommodating and helpful.
Nice location. We had a family room that was big and very comfortable.
However, we almost never saw any of the staff there. We arrived to a sheet of paper with our booking reference and key- and likewisejist dropped off the key as we left. There is a phone at the front desk I used to communicate with the owner about breakfast since it was not clear what was communal and what was not. Also, a lot of the accommodation is a walk-up- 2 floors up from entry level. This could be tricky for older visitors with heavy luggage.
It was a great location for Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
I was surprised no one was at the desk ever… until the end. I had a concern about how cold my room was and would have asked for a blanket
I loved the location, it was close to the 2 restaurants and the coffee shop and the mountains were beautiful surrounding the hotel.
The room didn't have a fridge to store food, which forced us to only eat at the restaurants. There was also no where to put our clothes, besides a a coat rack with 4 hangers. The listing also said they had a bar in the hotel and when we got there, they told us the bar closed 3 years ago. It also said breakfast was included and we weren't allowed breakfast.
The hotel is located near the harbor in a quiet place. The room is pretty old but clean. Comfortable beds. Overall, it's acceptable accomodation for a one-night stay. Great communication with the staff.
The walls are thin. Pretty basic breakfast.
The hotel is situated conveniently to restaurants and attractions. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in sooner than expected without any problems.
One of the two mattresses in the room was not flat.
It is a no woman/man Service house, but well prepared. Fair breakfast.
Very close to Kirkjufell...
Our room was quite small but we made it work.
It was the closest hotel we could find near Kirkjufell.
We booked twin beds, but they had set up one big bed. We tried to separate the beds, ourselves, but there was only one bedsheet. There was no one at reception, so one of us had to sleep without bedsheets. The shower stall was really small, it was hard to wash hair. No elevator. Zero soundproofing. Beds were not comfy.
Close to kirkjufell
1. Did not have hair dryer in single room.2. You can hear every single thing going on in the hallway and in the adjacent rooms. Even the little things like talking or turning on the water. 3. Went down to breakfast and they said they ran out of eggs. 4. No elevator. And the stairs are quite steep.
Spacious room, luggage nook, TV with streaming, nice lobby, clean, comfortable
Almost never saw any staff
The view was not what I expected. You could see some mountains but with a view of tanks, big trucks and work trucks.Never saw any staff.
Location (both views and logistics), personnel, coziness
Nothing critical, just minors: soundproofing kinda weak, room sizes smallish, pricy (but this is Island, so maybe not so)
It was the most expensive, low-end hotel that I have booked in my entire life. There are no staff on duty, and emails, messages and listed phone number are not contactable at all. It literally feels like a ghost hotel. Pipes are choked, and breakfasts are not even served, although this has been paid for. The corridor is not lit up at all too.Seriously would not recommend anyone to stay there, even though it is just a stone throw away from the famous Kirkjufell mountain.
Everything.
Nice room on the second floor.
It didn’t have an elevator and it was a little pricey for what you get.
