Good location with clean beds and gentle staff

Free parking, right next to Carrefour supermarket, shopping mall and some fast food, decent size super clean rooms (very worth mentioning), excellent bedding, breakfast above average for the category and value for money (remains simple, but comprehensive), friendly young staff, very good wifi.

It was all as per expectation so really no bad point.

We stayed for three nights. On arrival there was no shower screen so we were given another room. The second evening the shower hose broke. The member of staff did replace it while we were out for the evening.The third night there was a fire alarm at 3am. We managed to find our way (with our phone torches) to the fire escape. The police arrived, spoke to the member of staff on duty, shrugged, and left. There was no fire engine. The member of staff did not leave the building or speak to us. We were left outside wondering if it was safe to return to our rooms. We eventually did, and tried to sleep, but the electricity was still off (till 8am) so there was no air conditioning for the rest of the night.The whole event was a nightmare with no contact from hotel staff.We left in the morning with no apology from the staff for the disturbance and lack of communication from the member of staff on duty that night (July 3 2025).We were appalled at the lack of care.

Some mould in the rooms,very little lighting quite a dark room, very outdated, more like a 2 star hotel.

The town is quite depressing, but the hotel is fine.

The room was a good size and we were lucky to be able to book at short notice just before Christmas. It's right near the river, so there's a path to walk your dog, and an easy walk into the town centre.

We didn't realise that it adjoins a shopping centre. This wasn't an issue, just a surprise, and the carpark isn't private because it's the shopping centre's carpark. We had zero problems, though.

Location is good and plenty of parking. Room was warm even with below zero outside.

We booked a Queen room with large single bed and handy desk for setting up my laptop.Reality was the room had been converted into a triple room with single bed where the desk should have been. The desk lamp was still on the wall although hanging limply because it was broken. The desk had been moved into an unlit area by the bathroom. There was a light on the wall but the location of the switch remains a mystery. the bathroom light switch took a bit of finding as it is positioned next to the flushing mechanism for the toilet and above a 10cm hole in the wall.The tap on the sink is blocked and water comes out at a trickle. The shower above the bath works well but the shower head is in a very awkward position. The bath is difficult to get out of because there is no grab rail and for an elderly person quite dangerous. I think people have been holding on to the shower head rail as this is loose on the wall. The heater in the bathroom does not work so you have to leave the bathroom door open to get warm air blown in form the reverse aircon unit opposite. The door catch does not work so someone requiring privacy will not get it. The aircon unit worked but is missing the flap and has expanding foam filling in the gaps around it.Although a budget hotel of which I have stayed in many this hotel requires a lot of maintenance, maintenance staff or a budget for the maintenance staff to get things repaired.

Family of 4 (9 and 7)family room with 1 bed out in hallway where a wardrobe should be,,, no child would sleep there reception was closed all we could do was squeeze together !!! Toilet falling off wall keep away !!!!!!!! Waste of money !!!!!

Location for stop over travelling from south of France to Calais.

Grubby lift. No plug in sink. Tired and tatty deco.

Bedroom was dirty needs to be up dated the bathroom had mold and scum all round the bath the bathroom door it the heater on the wall to close it the bed had stains on the mattress the mattress had a plastic sheet under the sheet which mad you sweat the door stop between the bathroom and bedroom was lose and moved when you walked over it the sink had a big crack going all the way round it the photo showed tea and coffee making facilities which was not in the room the room was definitely over priced and really not worth the £65 we paid for the night when we asked about the bar we were told it would close at 9pm the reading lamp on the wall was broken and hanging off the wall the air conditioning control panel was hang off the wall there was exposed electrical cables the curtain was hanging off the window.this hotel really needs to be check by someone from booking.com as it is an utter disgrace and to be honest It shouldn’t be advertised on booking.com’s websit.Very disappointing and dissatisfied should be able to view the room before you pay Especially after traveling for 6hours.

Room was OK, space was good in the room, shower was alright. Booking.com didn't send over our cot reservation but hotel did sort that so that was a plus

Booked two rooms, a twin with a cot bed and a triple bed room for a family of 6. Beds were uncomfortable the cot for the baby dipped and the baby ended up in the bed with me all night because the mattress practically folded in on her.

Situated in a commercial complex next door to a Mac Donald’s.

Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was quiet and worked well. Breakfast was passable, though supplies of bread, etc., kept running low with only the receptionist to replenish.

Breakfast could have been much better. We had a broken bathroom doorknob and two lights missing. Improvements would include a room safe and a kettle, etc., in the room.

Shower was v small and as usual in french hotels they have removed the shower fixing so you have to hold it…. Water saving no doubt ( just charge another Euro)

When we arrived that point we couldn’t check in as whole building was out of electricity. It would be nice offer something while waiting like drinks or refreshment.

Garage, comfortabel bed, dressing, bathroom, kitchen to make your own breakfest (shared with the owner), tram is at 5min walk

Jacuzzi (bathtub) didn't work; terasse is at the owners living room 'for smokers'.

Helpful staff, very little English spoken but they tried to help and we were being awkward due to car difficulties. Great rooms, comfortable, quiet, slept 3 so we were all together. Breakfast was OK. Could be better, but value for money and helped us when we were stuck. Would use again.

Breakfast was only passable. Bar wasn't open.
