    Cons -

    • To pay spa, last year all was included on the price
    • Everything in the room smelled like mold. The bed sheets and pillow, the towel, the entire room smelled old and moldy. The couch/sofa bed cover looked dirty and burnt with cigarettes. The shower glass is dangerously detached from the bottom and the shower head doesn’t sit up high to be able to shower you have to keep holding it.
    • I booked on line from Tx USA 3 months before our trip I pd one price & I made some changes within that 3 months nevertheless y’all charged me way more that what you should have!! The pool area was dirty. They were standing water. We did not even swim. It was disgusting. We ate at the restaurant quite a few times it was just OK food and overpriced.

The overall hotel premises and experience are good, only issue is the Spa

Honestly, the SPA deal is a scam. Apparently, starting 5th of may 2025, the hotel guests pay an extra 20 euro each if they want to access the spa, not included in the hotel cost (already quite pricey). In reality, hotel guests still have access to the indoor and outdoor pool, and the 20 euro on top give you access solely to a little hamam and sauna spot, which is quite ridiculous. At the reception they don't clarify the difference, and they make you think that accessing the pool with spa access grant you additional "water experience" which were really minimal and kids level. That said, I also had to buy a Speedo to comply to the policies, only to find other people from the hotel with a regular bathing suit enjoying the indoor pool during "spa" hours.

This hotel was a fabulous find. Situated a short walk from Juvignac centre & offering a sense of tranquility. It is not difficult to get into Montpellier centre via metro from Juvignac. Our room overlooked the golf course & we had a lovely open view of the countryside from our balcony. Our king-size bed had a super comfy memory foam mattress. The restaurant is nicely decorated with lots of natural light & space between tables. The breakfast is varied, offering continental & hot bacon, sausage & scrabbled & boiled egg. There is an excellent large swimming pool within the spa area. We will go back to Zenitude Hotel la Valadiere, Ascend Hotel.

It was nice but some of the hotels policies make it not as enjoyable experience as others, for example no water bottles provided in the room and mini bar was empty. Also the room isn't remade during the stay. We used the SPA facilities but men are not allowed to wear standard swim shorts so you have to purchase some 1980s swim shorts which you can consider disposable, they are awful.Apart from the above which really just relates to inconvenience it is a wonderful place and we would return but hopefully the above can be looked into.

We loved the pool but my wife slipped getting out of the pool and hurt herself.

It is very slippery when you get out of the pool. My wife fell. There is no room service but you aren’t allowed to take food from the hotel back to your room?

Location, morning staff, Spa. When we made they complain about the evening situations with reception and restaurant Madhi and restaurant manager were very helpful apologised and explained the issues. We were even offered some coffee and something for out trip. True hospitality great staff. Thank you.

Evening staff was rude, unhelpful. We had stayed previously but this time we were refused service at the restaurant by a very rude waiter or bar tender. We understand they had already served the 40 meals they are able to cook but since we were there before kitchen was closed, they could have offered (nicely) cheese, hams, bread or even a drink. On top of that the reservation was for 3 people and the room only had one bed and two towels. Talked to the receptionist and she could have not been more dismissive, rude, and arrogant. She didn’t even want to get up and show us where the entrance to the annex was. The room in the annex was not of a 4 stars hotel as they claim to be. Make sure you are in the main building where rooms are completely different. Annex is a budget hotel from Zenitude.

    7Yazone M.Posted on: 8-20-2024

Rooms very clean and staff very polite. We were able to stay on the pool after check out and it was very nice of them to allow us to keep our luggage and enjoy a bit more the installation.

Only thing is that it was a bit of lack of communication from the beginning. I was a little disappointed that I tried to go for dinner with my 2 years old and sister and I was told that I was not able to be serve due I did not book in advance, despite that was empty but they staff just said that due the lack of staff they cant serve us without reservation. That was very inconvenient for us considering that we had a toddler and it was past 8 pm and very hungry, we had to leave and try to find something to eat but everywhere was not very welcoming without reservation that we ended pizza take out. As a Spa and place that works in the service and hospitality that is not acceptable that is not food options for clients plus not room service.

Air conditioning was terrible and some things need renovation.

Booked as had a pool for our little boy, on arrival wasn’t allowed in as had incorrect type of swimming shorts then wanted to charge us 30 euros for the correct ones!

The hall was clean and well organized. Check-in and check-out easy, friendly reception. Nice large indoor pool and one smaller one outside.

The only big minus was the lifeguard at the pool who banned my two children (3 and 6 years old) from using the surfboard, which in my opinion goes against the safety rules. They couldn't play with the ball, which was intended for water. The only thing they could have were swimming sleeves. Which, unfortunately, is not enough for my toddler to feel safe in the water. The lady at the reception was surprised by the decision of the lifeguard. Standardization of swimming pool rules is needed. If the facility actually prohibits children from using any water gadgets, either for swimming lessons or for simple fun, PLEASE MAKE INFORM ATION ABOUT IT ON THE HOTEL'S MAIN WEBSITE. And this is hotel for both adults and kids so make sure the rules are safely done for both groups. There is no such information available at this time.
