- No lift had 2 heavy bags to get up stone stairs , a bit of the beaten track
- The shower in our room was totally open, which made a bit of a mess in the bathroom when we were showering. A glass or a curtain to stop the water would be nice.
- The comfort of the room was a bit less than expected. Due to the bed and design of the specific room. The restaurant was good, but was missing the design you had in the living room for example.

The comfort of the room was a bit less than expected. Due to the bed and design of the specific room. The restaurant was good, but was missing the design you had in the living room for example.

The old mansion is amazing, the pool is lovely (though cold!) , the staff is very friendly (and English speaking) and the breakfast was great. 8 minutes drive to the circuit of Ledenon
The old mansion is ... old. It's not a modern hotel, and some facilities are lacking. The hot water took 3-4 minutes to start, the doors and shower are not high enough for me (1.80) to stand in, the WiFi didn't cover the room. It's still an amazing stay and I would come again , just worth noting
Beautifully secluded property oozing the charm of the South of France. As far as the location is concerned, I would definitely go again for longer. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We were there overnight on our travels and everything was perfect for that. The restaurant was closed so the proprietor recommended and arranged another one in the area which we really enjoyed.
I would have appreciated 2 comfortable chairs in the room or a sofa, seeing as we were there in a cold spell of weather and outside wasn't an option.
Owner was very nice and helpful but didn´t help the total score!!
Restaurant was closed, had to drive 6-8 km for a dinner.Booked a double room comfort but never found the comfort and was in the annex!We kindly was upgraded without costs but room was just bigger and with a cavelike toilet/bathroom for short people(1meter)!!A domaine from 17th century but was not updated to 21st century standard, you can not renovate a place like this to todays standard but...............
We were wowed by the owners and this property.We were upgraded to a junior suite which was beautiful. Rich in history. Lovely comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast 2 Tesla Chargers!

Our stay in Domaine Des Escaunes was amazing. The accommodation keeps a high level of standards and we had our "re-energizing" time in this calm oasis with an authentic French atmosphere. We also enjoyed the swimming pool in a beautiful garden and breakfast in the courtyard. I highly recommend this place.
