Individual ?pods? very comfortable.

Plenty of warnings in the room about this, but each room just has a small water heater so take a quick shower!

the name of the lodging is not the same Hotel vs. Center. Rooms were small.

Location was good, view was nice, the multi-building pod layout was fun.

The price was on the high side, and the restaurant was expensive, even by Iceland standards. The breakfast was rather underwhelming for ~$25 USD. The oatmeal was lumpy and barely lukewarm.

Clean. Good location. Interesting landmarks within walking distance. Food was good. Quiet.

Short staffed, which caused very slow service in the restaurant. All the local stores and bars closed very early.

This hotel was really great. The rooms were a good size and located not far from the coast. The staff was extremely kind and the breakfast served was just enough. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location and cleanliness

Hot water for shower only lasts for 20 minutes - reheating of hot water takes a long time. We paid $--- for the room with simple amenities - breakfast not included- the overall value for the price you pay is not great.

Lovely location, with an ocean view.

Since it was winter, the restaurant hours were very limited.

This is not bad for a place to sleep, it is clean, rather spacious and the beds are fine.

This is quite „industrial“ - it isn’t really a hotel, rather a motel of sorts with container-like cabins in a row from the reception. It is totally okay but not super nice. For a weekend getaway we probably should have gone elsewhere.BEWARE Of THE RESTAURANT: I paid almost ISK 4.000 (EUR 28) for a “rich and creamy soup with seafood” which turned out to be (quite tasty) fish broth with only three tiny slivers of probably crab meat. When alerted to this, the very friendly waitress thanked me for my honesty, which was nice but a bit puzzling. Not the dinner I had envisioned but, luckily, I had a bag of popcorn in my room so I survived ;)

Clean room. Good view of the northern lights from our room. Not sure if all rooms would have this. Staff was nice during check in and provided extra pillows upon request.

Location was good. Tim was nice size.

Clean, quiet, nice shower. Near several great things to see.

Room was too hot. No place to put suitcases. Coats were hung over one of the beds. Parking was free, but a long way to drag suitcases. No handicap parking.

We had great experience at the hotel. We liked stunning views, spacious and warm room, great shower, proximity to trails.

It would be great, if the hotel had a lobby where guests could relax outside of their rooms. A cozier style might be a better fit for rainy and cold weather, as the contemporary design makes the rooms feel a bit cold. The selection of restaurants was also limited. While there were a few highly-rated lunch options, breakfast was only available at hotels.

It was in a nice area.

We requested a two bedrooms for 4 people. We got two bedrooms but one was so small that it could only fit a single bed. The other. Single bed was in with the king bed. The couch could be made into a bed. When checking in I was told it was a two bedroom. I said sorta and she replayed “sorta”. The staff were not friendly. If you stay here be sure to check your accommodate carefully.

The location and view were great. The fish and chips in the restaurant were the best we’ve had.

Room was clean and modern. TV was our biggest complaint . It was raining when we got there so we couldn’t go for walks or anything. We couldn’t get anything on the TV. Better instructions would have been a big help. Also, I tried to call the hotel restaurant from my mobile phone in our room and had the hardest time reaching the restaurant. The lady who answered the contact number wouldn’t transfer me but gave me an 8 digit number that didn’t work. I had to dress and walk to restaurant desk to make a reservation. Other than those 2 things, we loved the ocean view from our room windows in the morning and a lovely walk. Very clean room and nice shower .

Peaceful surrounding, scenic views especially from restaurant. Well insulated rooms with comfortable beds and functional bathroom. Loved the walk/hike to next town over

I was second person to shower, water was not very hot but still ok

We had a family suite. Very close to the statue. Walking distance. It was very pretty. New feel. there was a lot of space the beds were comfortable. there were two bathrooms and a kitchen the location was nice and we loved it

It was kinda annoying when the water went cold. the fridge was not that cold and the food was expensive for a night

Location

Breakfast is way too expensive for what’s available. Also the breakfast staff not very friendly. Reception was great. The bathroom had hair in it from previous guests and the floor was t very clean. I have a crawling baby so I spend a lot of time in the floor. Also, I confirmed a baby crib but it was forgotten. When I told reception they organized but since it was raining everything was wet. Also, the lack of hot water is also ridiculous. You pay a lot and then on checkin they tell you “sorry, you will have hot water for 30min” your in a family room so probably have 4 people that need to shoo wet. This should be mentioned before hand.
