Hotel Freyhof

Everything... staff, location , breakfast, reasonable

The only thing was that we needed about 5 ice cubes for some meds... they had no ice BUT they went next door to restaurant and brought them to us! Thats what I'm talking about!???

Very cozy and welcoming Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The position right in the center is excellent for going out without having to move the car. The car can stay at a public parking spot right next door (paid parking during the day).The choice of breakfast items is very interesting and well thought through.

The forth floor is not accessible by elevator. This makes for a great exercise when carrying suitcases (not really a problem).

Clean, central located, cheap car parking behind hotel. Very large and variegated breakfast, easy self check-in late in the evening

A bit pricey

The beds and bedding were very comfortable. It was clean and fresh. The breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs and chocolate covered ginger bread cookies, even hot chocolate! Location was perfect and we walked to the Christmas market.

Great historical building in a good location with comfortable room and wonderful breakfast.

Hotel is small with stuff doing multiple tasks so sometimes staff is not available at the reception.

First of all, there is parking right behind the hotel, which is a huge plus. Free from Saturday from 2 pm until Monday morning. (Stand February 2024). When we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by a very friendly lady. She explained everything to us and off we went to our room. We had a lovely family room, which was extremely clean and smelled lovely. The beds are very comfortable. I wish I had read the part before where it says I could have asked for another pillow. Well I know for the next time. We even got a little chocolate on our pillow and water as a welcome (again, stand 2024). Breakfast was beautiful. The most amazing selection of anything your heart desires. We will definitely return. Freiberg is a beautiful little town, and this hotel is right in the center and walking distance from all the sights. The view from the hotel windows is also breathtaking.

The pillows!

Good location in city center, good breakfast; nice staff; clean and big rooms; calm; parking next to the hotel but needs to be paid;

City charges €10 city tax - but this is nothing the hotel can be blamed for.

Nice hotel located in the centre of the town. Very tasty breakfast with a great selection for vegan, lactose intolerant and others.

Pillows was too soft for me.

The room design is great, the attention to details, everything is so clean and well maintained. This hotel is well positioned quite close to terra mineralia, but overlooking one of the nain squares.

We loved Freiberg and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean, modern, and comfortable rooms. Very nice breakfast. Great restaurant and bar with garden. Easy checking and friendly staff. Easy parking and great location in old town Freiberg.

Nothing. If much hotter, then air conditioning would be desirable. We were comfortable with the widows open. Very nice rooms.

It was a good experience, Freiberg is a surprisingly nice place. and the hotel is at a good location. The apt was great for 6 people. The beds are comfortable. The apt. was clean. Good breakfast.

There was some loud music until 00.30 (saturday night).

The restaurant was very nice. The desk clerk helped us with our train reservation. Location was easy to find and close to the picturesque old town in Frieberg.

There are two parking lots, but we passed the first one which is paved and parked in the second one which is not paved and a longer walk from the front door of the hotel.

Close to the center train station, decent, cozy and clear room. This is the main reason I chose Freyhof. In addition, I will rebook this hotel for not only the reasons above.Take Freiberg as Freiburg mistakenly. Very kind that staff and manager understood this beautiful fault and help me out finally. Very pity that I can't live in Freyhof, which had been highly expected among all the FREIBERG hotels. I will be there in the future.
