Hotel Sächsischer Hof

The location is perfect since its a short walk from the train station. The staf was incredibly helpful, they were able to give us our room earlier than regular check-in, assisted us with general directions to the town centre for dinner and kept our luggage safe after check-out while we were out doing a hike - breakfast bar was also very delicious!

Very friendly staff

Very awkward parking behind the building. Long way to carry luggage. All steps and cobble stone, no elevator. We struggled with wheelchair and steps. Do not recommend for mobility challrnged guests.

It’s the perfect location to discover the Sächsische Schweiz and as well Dresden or Meissen. It’s located opposite the train station. Even Pirna is a beautiful city and needs to be discovered. I also recommend a boat trip with the Weisse Flotte up to Bad Schandau. Amazing breakfast and lovely stuff ?

In the summer month it could be get quite warm in the rooms, but there is a Dyson fan which helps to cool down.

Good location nearby train station - direct and easy connection to Dresden.

It was comfortable and clean

The noise it is across from a train station and a busy road. There is no lift for those who have issues with climbing stairs. But handrails on both sides of staircase to assist.

The location is amazing for people who use public transport: S-Bahn and bus stations just 5 minutes on foot. There is a road nearby but at night there are small amount of cars, it is quiet in the room. The beds are comfortable. The room is clean. The personal is polite. It is possible to leave luggage before and after the trip. We can definitely recommend it.It is possible to ask for an additional bed for your child. We were here in October.

Not critical, just for your information: There is no elevator. There is no fridge in the room.

The Hotel was placed in Centrum closed to the old town with good restaurants. Okay rooms. During our visit it was vey hot and sunny weather so we missed air-condition.

The Parking was vey poor, not enough parking spots to all guests. Furthermore it was very hot during our stay but no cold water to get. Also no cold water for breakfast.

As we travel without a car, the location was perfect, 10 to 15 min to all the little villages around /to different Wanderung routes and to most important sightseeing spots as Königstein Festung/Bastei Bridge and others. There are plenty of things to do, and 3 min from the hotel to the Stop of the Railway makes it easy to see not only Pirna but everything around. At the same time, the city center is close enough and about 10 min walk to the historic center and restaurants. The hote/rooml is clean, bed convenient, breakfast standart good and well served ( filled up frequently and cutlery cleaned properly). Stuff is friendly. We could check in an hour earlier cause our room was already ready and could store the bags for free at the day of the departure. Very good value, very good location ?

Rooms became very warm in 30C+ outside temperature and the Dyson fans provided made little difference.

Close to train and bud station if you arrive late or leave early. The staff were nice.

Close to rail line?. The top floor seemed to be a bit unfinished - bare boards (not in a cute rustic way) and the carpet up the stairs seemed pretty grubby in places. The room was small, not very well equipped and not good value compared with other single rooms in the area.

Excellent location, close to the bus and railway stations but still only a few steps from beautiful town centre. A very quiet room despite the traffic outside. A bit crowded private parking, but always possible to find free space. Nutricious breakfast. Effective electric fan in the room. And last but not least - friendly and helpful staff!

Having an electric kettle would be useful.

The beds and sheets were very nice and comfortable, the staff was very nice and looking after us.

It was super hot even with the open window and fan, the old building kept the heat of the day conserved

Continental breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice of meats, breads, and cheeses. We were in a top room, which was uncarpeted and had sloped ceilings. It was charming, but I would have preferred a room on a lower floor as we hit our head a few times on the ceiling. About 40 minute drive to Dresden. Free parking available on-site, but it is limited. Stay comes with a guest card for Pirna - local transporation and discounts to attractions like the Wagner museum.

The bike Storage was not locked - not even at night.

Overall the hotel is really nice. The room was a bit old and smelly, also a bit dark.On the other hand, breakfast was really nice: nice variety, good tea, very cosy breakfast area, good service. Also I can mention small parking: it is rather small, and if you come late you might need to look for the place in the city.

The location is really fantastic, it is right opposite the main Pirna bus and train station but it is still quiet. It was perfect as a base to explore the surrounding areas by public transport. It is a short walk to reach the main center where all the shops and restaurants are. The breakfast was nice.

The room we stayed in was a lot more dated than what was shown on the photos. The mattresses were on the older side, the bedsheets were pilly and rough.
