Comfortable beds

We stayed there twice on two separate nights. There was a guy in the reception who did not speak any English. He was unpleasant and rude and obviously hated British tourists, no customer service skills whatsoever. It was impossible to communicate with him about anything. On our first night when we wanted to pay for breakfast, he told us that “breakfast is kaput”. On the second stay again he was very unhappy that we wanted breakfast and was turning his eyes and making noises. We only stayed there for the second night because we paid upfront and we couldn’t get a refund otherwise we would’ve gone to a different hotel. Also breakfast choice is very poor, full of ham and cheese.Rooms are simple but quite comfortable, nothing special. Location is good but I will never stay there again even for free.

Clean comfortable and centrally located.

Nice location, comfortable тв clean room, fair pricing. The room small, but for this price - big enough for the small family with one kid. Nice continental breakfast, nothing special, but all fresh, diverse, healthy and tasty.

Location

So, I'm walking up to the reception, show my id and I hear that there is no reservation for my name. Ok, I'm thinking: I guess I got the wrong hotel. 45 minutes later it turns out this was the place. The receptionist (owner?) wasn't too communicative. The room smelled of cat urine and was filthy, check out the photos with UV light. I would like a refund.

It is a very new hotel. No noise. Well organized but the room is also quite small. Everything is optimized for the small room such as a narrow bed.

Smaller space in the room on some occasions. You first need to check-in to get a code for the gate of the parking. There is not much parking space in front of the hotel.

Great value and consistent quality at B&B. Perfect location.

B&B uses door access codes written on a card. I’m not a big fan of those, they are a major security risk. If a guest loses the card with the hotel name, room number and code on it, a stranger may gain access to the hotel and your room.

Great location, walking distance to the center with a lot of cafes and restaurants to have a breakfast. Peaceful and quite.

The door at the back that leads to the parking was shut so we had to walk all the way around during the night with our son.

Location was great. Good facilities and with free parking with the possibility to charge the vehicle

Nothing to mention

Same formula, so you get what you expect: small room but with good layout for 3 persons, clean, very decent beds and great value for money. Parking cost extra but is great as otherwise parking in Eisenach can be difficult especially as the parking garage nearby is occasionally closed. You can walk from the hotel to the Wartburg. Town center and some very good restaurants are nearby. Do try the restaurant next door! Great cheap traditional German dishes.

I still hope they include a fridge sometime. The next door bar/restaurant is a bit noisy when you have the windows open. But with windows closed you hear nothing.

The hotel was very good, close to places to eat and some of the sights to see. Was good value for the price.

Just one thing, it was a bit of a walk from the train station for an old guy. The street the bus uses was closed for construction, so it wasn't really worth walking from the detour.

Friendly staff

You are allowed to check-in only from 15:00-19:00 if you book a room via Booking.com. If you arrive later than 19;00, you need to informed of a password before 19;00 from the hotel to unlock your room.

Good bed, nice staff.

I got the top floor bedroom, and I could barely stand up. There wasn't much variety for breakfast.

Great location to town (just a short walk), somewhere safe to park my motorcycle and usual breakfast.

The location was ideal for visiting sites in the town and the Wartburg Castle. The facilities at the hotel were excellent. everything worked and the breakfast gave a very good choice.

We could hear someone snoring in an adjacent room. Perhaps better sound insulation could be considered.

The hotel manager who greeted us that night was VERY friendly and helpful. He even gave my 6 mos old grandson a little stuffed sheep...very kind!

I wish there was an included breakfast.

Worse experience ever

This was my worse experience in 30 years of travel. Before I booked online I confirmed by phone that I could arrive at the hotel late night as I finish work late. A lady confirmed that I could ring on the day until 21.00 to check-in by phone. When I tried so on the day at 18.50 a very unfriendly man answered the phone. He told me that I am to late and that it's not possible anymore. I also had given the wrong phone number. I wondered about the wrong number. When I asked if he could confirm the number he replied: " you really think I look up again your number. I told you it's wrong". I replied: ok. But can we find a solution? Your colleague said it would be possible until 21.00.His answer: "The desk is occupied until 21.00, but your check-in had to be done until 18.00."I asked still in friendly manners:Mister, I worked the hole day. Is it possible to find a solution?Then I got word for word this reply:"I surly worked more than you today and for sur I earned more money then you."What???? I felt there was just an unfriendly, rude person on the phone and I gave up fighting for my reservation.I asked for his name as I was never treated this disrespectful in my life and he answered:"Yes sure. My name is Dr. Michels". I finished the conversation as followed:-Ok, I see you don't want to help me. You can keep my money. I look for another hotel.His answer was:"I don't need your penuts".(and kept them anyway)I stayed over the hole conversation friendly as I got educated. Dr. Michels seems to feel above his average costumers in a B&B. When I had the time after to check the reviews of the hotel closer I recognised that this "Dr." has failed various times in the past with other costumers.For me this "gentleman" shouldn't reply on phonecalls, nether should be in contact with his clients as it seems that he doesn't appreciate at all.Karma will do the rest

Great central location with private parking at the rear of the property - needs a code via buzzer to enter.Comfy clean modern rooms and automated check in options.

It was very loud early in the morning. You could hear everything your neighbors were doing.
