The castle and its surroundings look stunning. The swimming pool area is great. The rooms on the ground floor is authentic and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Restaurant was good.

Many rooms of the castle, including the bedrooms, need significant renovations.Cheap equipments, cheap materials, poor interior design choices which do not fit the standing of this majestic castle. The entire separate little house strongly smells the moisture. The breakfast is not worth 15 euros and not what you would expect to get in a castle.

    The location and the pool

Breakfast was not generous. A few more touches in room e.g tea and coffee even at slightly higher price would make whole experience seem better value

Beautiful setting and great food in the restaurant.

Hotel closed on arrival. No welcome or assistance. Few staff that involved searching for them. Very poor service.

Beautiful chateau and pool. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Very traditional and surrounded by sunflower fields.

Can’t check in until 4pm and have to leave at 11am, no free late check out.Vegi menu only too options and 69 euros.Scaffolding blocking the view of our family room.

Nothing.. guests should remember that this is an authentic chateau with original features.... once this is accepted, you'll love it.

Beautiful authentic Chateau in a stunning landscape

I had a delicious vegetarian meal but it was more expensive as there is no set menu option for vegetarians

The location & setting of this property is wonderful. The pool is lovely.

No air conditioning or fans in rooms, the temperature during our stay reached early 30s. No tea/coffee facilities in the room or fridge. Worn out towels and bed linen.

Beautiful old chateau in a very rural setting, friendly staff, nice pool. Dinner was on the terrace as it was warm and had some beautifully presented dishes with one exception (see below).

Whilst the dinner was well presented I found part of a metal pan scourer in my main course & whilst the restaurant removed the charge for some overpriced wine in compensation it should never have happened in the first place. We also stayed in the annex or lodge to the chateau, this was very poor. The bathroom in a bad state & was dirty and wouldn’t even make a 1 star grade. The toilet in particular was bad and in need of a good clean. There is no shower as sux, just a shower head 30cm above the bath. The towels were threadbare to the point of being translucent. As for the bedroom the mattress was very old and the pillows were old cheap things with loose foam particles. I certainly would not rebook this property until it overcomes these points. I didn’t unfortunately complain about the room as we were only there one night and the chateau was full, also with the food problem I couldn’t bring myself to raise this with the extremely charming lady in reception as we checked out.

This is a stunning property in an amazing setting. It is very ‘olde worlde’ as you would expect. Staff are friendly and polite. We ate there on one night and the quality of the food is excellent, the restaurant has got it right. Do make sure you double check the openings if booking as it doesn’t open every night. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy but stick with the old fashioned theme, there’s no air con so it can be warm. The pool area is great, parking plentiful, all in all we enjoyed it.

The property is as you would expect from a chateau, a little dusty! It could be improved with better bar facilities that offer drinks and snacks every day. We stayed around the pool one day, but could not get a drink until after 4 pm.

    7GailPosted on: 8-3-2024

The location was amazing, peaceful, set in beautiful countryside with breathtaking views. The building and grounds were impressive, very well maintained. The pool was lovely.

The attic rooms when the temperatures are in the mid 30's are boiling! A fan would have been much appreciated. No fridge in the room or any tea/coffee facilities.

Beautifully appointed chateauSuper cuisine Loved the meal & our stay, thank you

Rather stuffy in upper relais, but very hot spell, bit better with fan on & windows wide open through night Spacious but bit awkward getti h in bath as shower screen fixed!

    9EberhardPosted on: 7-30-2024

Everything you would expect from a stay in a chateau/hotel (considering the 3* rating). The dinner was really excellent (and well above 3*) and served on/in the terrace/garden. Although a hotel it preserved its charme as a stately country-house with many traditional furnishings.

The bathroom had everything one needed, but looked a bit tired. Also, today one would expect a stand-up shower, will wall-mounted showerhead, not just a handset.

    4NikiPosted on: 7-30-2024

The location was lovely - fabulous grounds. Building looks beautiful from outside.Pool was lovely, but no facilities e.g. umbrellas for shade, no access to cold drinks, towels etc.Dinner was excellent. The food was fabulous and service really good. The food made up for the lack of facilities in the hotel rooms..

The rooms were very sparse, we had no shower - only a bath, no hanging space to hand clothes, no air conditioning (and it was very hot), no water, no tea/coffee making facilities. Furniture was all very old and a bit tatty (run-down).

    8RikkiPosted on: 7-16-2024

Beautiful building, excellent pool area and a spotless room. Staff were very friendly. Fantastic evening meal which was delicious.

Nobody around if you arrive early, I had an hours wait until reception opened, wouldn’t have minded if I could have used the pool but it was locked and no bar to grab a drink while I waited. Breakfast was poor in my opinion.

We had two coeliacs and the waiter was very helpful guiding us through the menu. In fact he was superb all round.

Gorgeous chateau in a beautiful park setting. We loved our turret room and the whole setting was so romantic and unique. The owners were super friendly and the breakfast was very good.
