Hotel et Spa Les Cleunes Oléron

Location was nice, the rooms were spacious- but for the price we paid I guess it’s fair. The view from the breakfast was very nice. The spa was rather pleasant the outdoor pool was also nice. The staff were kind and mostly helpful- my mother in law found them particularly nice.

The pillows were hard like a stone. The breakfast was basic. The pool was not really heated, although for us that was not a problem because we had sunny warm weather. I don’t know why the lady in the reception did not respect my request to pay for the rooms instead she allowed my mother in law to pay (that same morning I had explicitly asked her to wait for me) how difficult is to say no to my mother in law I don’t understand..

This is a lovely hotel, the breakfast and breakfast staff were fantastic. The Spa area is just perfect, and the room was perfectly comfortable with good sized towels and a very nice bed

The reception staff seemed put out that we wanted to have a look around, given we were staying there for four days, it’s nice to know where everything is and know the place you’re staying in.

We won't book a standard room anymore. The bathroom is very small and so is the room.The rate at 164 euros - in September with breakfast not included - is high considered that the balneo area (hammer/sauna) are unused during the heat of summer. The pool is a nice size but the chemical content in the water are unpleasant.The next size up would be the minimum space for a stay of more than one night.

There's no air conditioner in the room we were in, and the plate to take a shower is very small.

Lovely setting, beautifully clean and exceptionally well run. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially Sophie on reception). The spa was lovely to use too.

Location and new spa area. The bed was very comfortable.

The rooms were smaller than I expected. The shower was tiny. The front desk is closed from 8 pm and no meals available other than breakfast. The hotel is really more like a nice guesthouse.

The staff were excellent, the room very comfortable the breakfast was very good and the spa was perfect. I must add that the staff were very attentive and available. Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely return

The swimming pool and spa close at 20.00 hrs.

Pleasant

The bedroom was quite a let down, we paid close to 300€/night and it did not live up to expectations. Stained floor, gritty faucets, room with view..... on the parking. Paid premium for location.

Garden view are really noisy

The casino at the back of the hôtel is too noisy to sleep and it stop at 3am
