Domaine du Grand Caugy

The farm that used to serve for preparing cheese in the 17th century, now serves for breeding race horses . You can watch the horses from your window. It is located only seven minutes by car from Bayeux so it is easy to find a restaurant in the evening.Staff was very nice and generous. Our room was luxurious- large, sparkling clean and beautiful. We had a wonderful time! Thank you.

The property is absolutely beautiful, the bedroom was really comfortable and the personnel were really really kind with us

Nothing! It was amazing staying there

Very nice rural location but just a few minutes away from Bayeux Central.Good size room and quiet hotel. Excellent breakfast.

Arriving before check in time......nobody in reception and no info.

The room was beautifully decorated and much bigger than I expected. The staff were helpful and friendly and served a wonderful breakfast.

Everything was wonderful

We liked the nice quiet area, the cleanliness and the owners The breakfast was also excellent.

GPS instructions seem to send us to the owners' private residence

Peaceful and quiet -very serene country views. Great breakfast - Very clean - Friendly staff!

One thing to consider is transportation is required when you go back and forth to town. There are no walkable restaurants. The peace and quiet worth the hassle.

Breakfast was great. Rooms were large with a modern look and feel. Plenty of parking. Downtown Bayeux is only 11 minutes. Bayeux is a great central location to explore the WWII sites and Museums. We had a car so this place made everything ideal - modern, large, and free parking. The place has rental space for weddings so the breakfast room is very spacious and plenty of free parking.

Incredible building and grounds, out of the city so peaceful and quiet, the room was perfect!

Great spacious location easy to find. Nice room and bathroom.Excellent breakfast.

The location is just so romantic. Everything is spotless clean, the host is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice as well. The property is quiet and far from the crowds. It's close to the city, where you can get one of the best restaurants.

Domaine du Grand Caugy is located in a very quiet location surrounded by countryside. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious.

Amazing place beautiful and perfect the host was very nice explain everything we needed and make us very welcome, We'll definitely be going back again Greetings from Ireland

The breakfast was superb, the location in a beautiful surroundings, the accommodation in a beautifully restored and repurposed substantial old farm buildings.

nothing much to dislike!

Location, friendly staff and good breakfast

A stylish and well appointed property. It was ideally situated for exploring the area and close enough to Bayeux to go to a restaurant in the evening. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh and home made products. We were offered eggs too. Our hosts were absolutely lovely and we really enjoyed our very short stay.

Lovely quiet location just outside Bayeux. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental with additional eggs if required and was very generous

Single drink making station shared between several rooms. When we wanted to use the kettle someone else had taken it to their room and we were unable to use it

Quite location about 5 minutes outside Bayeux. Its setting is really lovely with lots of horses in the surrounding fields. The property is up a country lane and very secluded.

Very spacious, comfortable and quiet room . Very friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast Good

Room, no tea or coffee facilities, in the hallway, no lift, steep stairs

Warm welcome, clean and comfortable room, lovely surroundings and a very good breakfast.
