Loved the new decoration of the room.

Mattress was too soft, I was afraid to roll out of the bed. There was no minibar and wine downstairs 12 euro per glass. No coffee maker.

Nice public areas. Good welcome from receptionist.

Difficult to find in the dark. Offhand and indifferent bar and restaurant staff. Egg dish unavailable at dinner although there were plenty of eggs at breakfast. Undercooked scallops. Bland food generally. Pre-frozen bread rolls. Poor sound insulation in room, I was kept awake by someone's TV.

Car park unlit do difficult walking the dog in the evening. Used phone torch but not great.Had to ask for someone to come and serve me a drink at the bar although staff standing around seemingly avoiding me

Welcoming reception, good room, good parking, easy check-in and check-out

Bar staff ignorant. 4 bar staff stood together talking ignoring us - and we were sat at the bar. Heineken and IPA was dreadful - undrinkable. Based on this, we gave the restaurant a miss and ordered a pizza to our room. Hate to think what the food and service would have been like.

The 2 rooms and types given to us were different to the ones we have reserved and, on different floors.

Well located for our needs. There are some restaurant / bakery options close by in addition to the hotel restaurant (which I don’t recommend)The bar area is aesthetically pleasing and a great place to enjoy a drink. The pool area looks great, weather was not warm enough so we didn’t use it Bedrooms are spaciousTv station options are great Parking is plentiful and if you have an electric vehicle there is a huge Telstra charging station.

The restaurant food quality was not good - as a result we only ate dinner one night The room layout includes a tiny toilet and small bathroom however the bedroom itself is very large The mattress protectors used look to be disposable which is great however they are feel like the plastic type you would use in a child’s bed and this results in a less than comfortable nights sleepEnsure your car is locked at night. We encountered the same couple around 9.45-10.00pm in the car park 2 nights in a row Obviously this is not at all the fault of the hotel but just a reminder to be a little vigilant. Stock images used on booking.com imply that Nespresso machine, mini fridge and bathrobes are available.

Booked evening meal with reception and then when went to the restaurant they had no booking for me. Restaurant staff very rude and had no interest in sorting the problem out. Reception staff tried.

The location worked well for us as an overnight stay en route to and from the south west of France from and to Calais. It was well presented, clean and today with very convenient parking facilities!

We stayed twice; on 29th August and 13th September. The room on our first visit was excellent but the room provided on our second visit was not so nice! The beds were smaller and no where near as comfortable. The food provided on our 2nd visit was below the standard we experienced first time around.

We had a tiny roll of toilet paper and the hotel was hard to find. We didn't find anywhere good to eat nearby.

Great location close to motorway for a stop over. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice facilities with small swimming pool and outdoor area. Lots of free parking available.

Slightly tired in places. For example the tennis courts were not in particularly good condition. The bathrooms could do with updating.

It could benefit from having some bar snacks and a pizza oven. I was told we don’t serve pizza as it’s a restaurant. It serves the usual nuggets & chips for kids so was a little confused by the comment . Breakfast was fantastic with a very good selection.

Breakfast was chaotic, tables not cleared, no cutlery, breakfast items not replenished when empty, long queue for coffee machine (one machine was broken). Dinner menu was a bit sparse and one dish was served on a wooden platter with deep cut marks which caused us to question hygiene.

Loud music from pool/bar area until 10pm. Bad smell in room from drains. Very dated but redecorated. Unhelpful unfriendly staff.

Lovely setting, with tennis, swimming pool and table tennis and a nice bar.

Price of beer was a little steep!

Breakfast was good we had it two mornings second first we came at peak time was crazy busy no plates lots of items ran out the second day we came down earlier was a much better experience

Drinks and food were very expensive 4 soft drinks over 20 euros we didn't eat on the evening as too expensive tho looks nice
