Globana Airport Hotel

Conveniently located right at the motorways. Clean rooms and hotel. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We checked in at around 1 am because our flight was delayed and our luggage got lost but the receptionist was very courteous and helped us to finish check in as quickly as possible. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of all the food one could possible desire. Again the staff at the breakfast were very friendly.

Excellent place, great room, good bed, excellent breakfast. I got a good "Black Friday" price. They think of everything. Because of the icy conditions outside, they even had ice scrapers for motorists.

Overall, it's a great hotel. It's 2-3 minutes from the Aral gas station and McDonald's.The entire hotel is decorated in bright colours and is very modern. As is common in many European hotels, there was no fridge, electric kettle or coffee maker.The room has a modern air conditioning unit with wall controls. Finally, an air conditioner that is really quiet and allows you to sleep undisturbed.Breakfast was excellent, and guests could eat it outside on the terrace, where there is also a small fountain and a quiet min-robot lawnmower.It's easy to get to from the motorway — there's no need to wander around town looking for it.It's one of the few hotels in the vicinity of large cities where you don't need an Umweltzone Plakette for your car. Later, we got one from DEKRA anyway, so we wouldn't have to look for a hotel to stay at for a few hours in the future. They also have free parking spaces.

We found an ant and three flies in the room. I had the window open for about 10 mins which explains the flies, not sure about the ant. The room was clean tho, and everything smelled nice.

Nice breakfast and food in the restaurant, with nice staff in restaurant. Good location near A9 highway, works well for a one night stop over.

We were given a hot room with AC that didn't work, we were then given a different hot room where the AC again didn't work. This time, we were met by "there's nothing I can do" and a poor attitude from reception staff. No apologies or wanting to solve the situation even though it was not a fully booked hotel. When asking to speak with manager it was not possible, it was also not possible to try to fix it, not until my partner insisted on a solution did they in the end have someone come to try and fix AC. This is not the first time there has been AC issues at this hotel, also not the first time we have been met by poor attitude from reception staff (this time laughing at my partner when he requested a solution) - they could definitely use some training in customer service.

Great location, there is parking, rooms are super nice, the bed is really comfortable, very pet friendly (the dog was welcomed in the room with a water bowl and a treat) - you have to though pay 15 euro extra for the dog stay.

You can still slightly hear the planes taking off near by, as Leipzig airport is a hub for cargo planes (usually older and more noisy than passenger planes). The staff is not particularly friendly nor welcoming.

Very clean, great service, very good breakfast

Good hotel and we stay there frequently, few times a year. This time we were a bit unlucky since we had loud neighbors next doors, though it`s not the fault of the hotel. Nevertheless, hotel is clean, rooms are good size with comfortable beds, and the breakfast has plenty of choice. We particularly would like to complement the bar service for absolutely great coffee, thank you!

Nice and clean hotel close to the highway. Big parking lot. Good for big vans. The hotel has a restaurant with really service-minded and friendly staff. Dogs are welcome in the restaurant and that is just amazing! For being a stop over hotel it was over really good!

Ive stayed at the Globana many times, and every time it is perfect, friendly staff, superb breakfast, rooms very very clean.Altogether the Globana is a great hotel.

A comfy room with a lovely bed. Great location for where I needed to be. Would use again and recommend to anyone else. Very nice food as well.

Room was excellent with individual bedrooms. Double bed in one room and 2 singles in the second room. I had requested an extra bed so not sure if we were just upgraded to a family room.

Clean, spacious room, all I needed. “Day SPA” is from 6pm, unsure if I had seen it mentioned.

Fair cost-quality ratio.We chose the hotel because we were just passing by. For 1 night for around 70€ it was totally ok.

Within the context of needing a place to spend a night while attending some kind of event at the Globana Village this hotel is perfect. Saved me a stressful trip in the early morning. Instead I spent a night in an exceptionally clean and comfortable room with a nice desk, bed and bathroom. And that's all I needed. The breakfast was very good as well. The Globana Conference Centre is just around the corner, but if you want to go anywhere else, you need to walk a bit. I didn't have time to check out the gym and sauna, but they seemed promising. Maybe I will find a moment to have a look another time. The money for the night was well spent and I will most likely come again.

It is a bit complicated to reach with public transport. There is a bus stop but not many connections. If you want to rely solely on public transportation: Plan ahead or be prepared to wait. Alternatively walk to Schkeuditz to have more options for transportation. The walkway is good but a bit long.

The staff was incredibly polite and friendly, and they honored all of our requests made before our stay. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with very comfortable beds. Pets are warmly welcomed, which we appreciated as we were traveling with a dog. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices.
