    Pros +

    • Gorgeous location, beautiful facility, great staff, great breakfast.
    • The entire character of this hotel is filled with old-world charm, yet offers modern amenities. Enjoyed the view of Mont Saint Michel and the rich corn fields from the serene and peaceful grounds and the chapel provided a grace-filled time of prayer.
    • The staff was nice.

    Cons -

    • No air-conditioning and it just happened to be quite hot and humid during our stay. The bugs prevented us from keeping the windows open.
    • The room was not clean at all — my bedside table was covered in dust, and I found five spiders in the room. There was no proper AC, only a small portable machine that requires you to open the window (letting in lots of mosquitoes) and blows cold air inside while releasing hot air outside. Don’t be misled by the profile pictures — the only nice thing about this hotel is how it looks from the outside. Also, they make you pay an extra fee for dogs but do not offer anything in exchange (as many hotels do - bed, toy, bowl, etc).
    • The room was “cosy”, but adequate.

We enjoyed a lovely overnight visit. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The evening meal was generous in size and excellent quality. Breakfast provided a wonderful selection. We especially enjoyed the relaxed location and the view across the countryside to Mont St Michel.

The room was “cosy”, but adequate.

    Location and setting very nice

Dated and needs some renovations ( except for the lovely chimney)We feel we were downgraded because we had a dog Poor value for moneyFood at the restaurant very expensive

The place is wonderful, just in front of Mt Saint Michel, an ancient manor in which you will live an immersive experience into the normandy life. The restaurant is also very good.

Beautiful exterior and setting with a view of Mont St Michel in the distance. Staff friendly and good service and food in the restaurant for our evening meal. Bathroom had been refurbished with an excellent shower. The dining room had beautiful views of the countryside and Mont St Michel. Loved the EV chargers but sadly couldn’t get them to work for us.

The room was small and very drab which surprised us as the bathroom was really good. The carpet was old and worn looking like it was from the 1970’s. Everything was clean but lacked any style to such a lovely looking hotel. The pillows had pretty much disintegrated and should be replaced. With a little bit of imagination and investment this hotel could be stunning as it is full of character and in such a lovely setting.

    Croissants were good..

The “hot” food was cold. I didn’t care for the flavor of the cheese. The bacon was rubbery.

The place looked gorgeous as we drove up. It was very nice and check in was good. The sitting area was nice. Friendly clientele. .

The buffet breakfast was expensive and terrible. Cold eggs! Bread tasted stale.

The location was beautiful - tranquil and pastoral. Amazing view with le Mont Saint Michel on the horizon. Excellent fish soup.

This hotel is a delightful retreat nestled in a peaceful rural area. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the evening, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

The house is a charming old mansion nestled in a beautiful countryside. It’s very close to le Mont-Saint-Michel. The bathroom is fairly new.

The mattress in room 102 is at the end of its lifecycle. You roll into a pit in the middle of the mattress. The room is tiny especially compared to it’s price. The silicon in the bathroom had mold

Everything! Perfect place, nice room, friendly staff and divine food.

    9DamianPosted on: 7-25-2024

Beautiful location and grounds looking out towards Mont Saint Michel.Excellent food server in the restaurant.A bit of a treat for us, but was well worth it

    7PaulPosted on: 7-4-2024

Excellent location with a view of Mont St Michel. Restaurant was good.

The welcome from the receptionist was very cool (both arrival and departure). The room was very hot with no fan to help cool it.

    7StevenPosted on: 6-27-2024

Old world french style as expected with a lot of dated dolls and period pieces which were very curious. We stayed in a lower priced room which was ok. Great old style bits an pieces in the garden, semi rural with a fantastic view over to SMMichel . Beautiful countryside and easy drive ( 10 minutes ) to the monte .. :-) ok if you plan to see the monte go early or late never in the middle. Get tickets online easy before you go for the abbey ... schools will be present on trips starting around 10.30 !!! beware. Beautiful building... like the hotel.

didn't feel to comfortable if a fire ever breaks out ? it was 2 or 3 floors up. Not much English spoken and limited menu choices. I would pay for a better room if i ever went back.

The location and it was cute.

The breakfast. The food was very not delicious. Sorry but it’s true.
