For a 100% successful getaway, remember to book one of our treatments and treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in the expert hands of our Valdys teams. Located within the hotel, the Bois Cendré restaurant offers subtle, gourmet cuisine inspired by international cuisine and prepared with local ingredients. Special dietary requirements are catered for on request. For breakfast, you can choose between the buffet in the restaurant or the express formula in the lounge-bar. Aqua and land sports courses are available on request and at an additional cost. The privileged location of our hotel is perfect for exploring the surrounding area: water sports, beach walks, golf and tourist attractions are all within easy reach. You can also enjoy the natural splendor of the surrounding salt marshes. Our hotel has been awarded the "Accueil Vélo" label, ideal for cycling the Vélodyssée in optimal conditions.

    • Lovely locationFriendly staffComfy bedsWide pool
    • This is a beautiful hotel, and I only rated it a 9 instead of 10 due to the lack of a heated towel rail, which when you need to dry swimwear to travel the next morning, we felt it was needed. The pool areas are perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, especially the warm temperature of the salt water pool. The breakfast had plenty of choice, and was all very fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly, and made so much effort to speak English, as we tried our best in French, and a lovely view from our very clean and large bedroom!
    • Clearly out of date

    Cons -

    • Room quite noisy ( bad insulation )The corridor in between the hotel and the spa should be upgraded. It is not really 4 stars luxurious lookingBreakfast quite disorganized / Robe collection messy tooHamman way to warm ( At least we had such a laugh with others guests : )Outdoor Jacuzzi too coldOutdoor swimming pool is useless. (It was closed but il looked very dated anywayAll these things could be easily improved and then the hotel will worth a higher score
    • Lack of a towel rail, small bathroom, but neither would stop us visiting again!
    • Bathroom was really too small. The hotel itself and the Room were abit out of date. Quite the Same price as for brand new design hotels. The value for money was clearly not here. We did try the SPA.

The spa facilities were fantastic and we had a fabulous dinner in the. restaurant. All the staff could not do more to help. Lovely overnight stay. Good secure bike room too.

Didn’t bother us but quite a way out of town.

    It’s in a quiet area

It’s not a four star. A two star would be more accurate. It’s also a bit jaded (the paving stones are lifting on the terrace). Also, it’s understaffed. The main concern was the restaurant. We ordered rib of beef on the second night that was inedible. On the first night the duck ordered my wife was so tough that she gave up eating it. Had there been some local restaurants nearby we would certainly have eaten outFinally, it did not represent good value for money. We would not stay there again.

Friendly staff. Lovely comfortable rooms. Short walk to the beach. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit the spa.

Friendly staff, the room was good

The food in the restaurant wasn't as good as other restaurants in the area.

It's great that thalasso/spa center can be used even before check-in in the hotel and the whole day after check-out. Continental breakfast provided a big choice. Dinner served in the restaurant is very nice as well.Special shower gives very pleasant feelings. Fontains with still and sparkling water are at each floor.

Receptionist gave a room with a double bed while twin beds were booked. The cards keys didn't work at once, had to go back down to the reception with the luggage again to solve the issue.

Location was everything, Beautiful Hotel, clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast. Staff are very helpful.

The spa was amazing , room very comfortable with lovely balcony. Breakfast was fabulous with great variety.

    8JoanPosted on: 6-5-2023

Lovely large comfortable bed and a nice balcony.

The room was very warm and there was no air con.

    8LinettelPosted on: 5-30-2023

Large comfortable room with balcony. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Relaxing environment. The thalasso was clean, large pool and great aquagym lessons.

Only one teabag in the room, we had to ask everyday for more. One elevator is not enough for the size of the hotel. The thalasso advertised a conference on wednesday, when I went I was informed it was exceptionally on tuesday that week! The receptionist found it funny and offered no apology.

    nice room

the fact that the hotel manager could not care less about the fact he was unable to guarantee a place at dinner , or provide alternatives other than “drive into town “ . Sorry that we disrupted his normal running of the hotel . That and the overcharging and a kettle that looked like a science experiment

    8JoPosted on: 5-23-2023

excellent facilities, lovely place and location good

no milk in the rooms foryour coffee and only two small coffee pods and no mugs, just paper cups

    5JensePosted on: 4-7-2023

Very nice and breakfast with a lot to offer ! You do pay enough for it as well. Hotel very close to the sea and offers a nice spa. Lots of parking space

Outdated rooms, especially the bathroom. Not the best value for money. Many groups which brings along the noise. Rooms are not very soundproof

    10SheelaghPosted on: 3-13-2023

A very relaxed atmosphere. Wonderful treatments and the salt water pool so good for the skin

The pool hours are a bit restrictive. Would be nice if they stayed open during lunch and opened an hour earlier and closed an hour later. Gives the customer more flexibility.

    9LesleyPosted on: 10-3-2022

We paid for breakfast on the first morning but did not think it was worth 16euros each so did not have it on the other days

Cheaper breakfasts! There was no option to book bed and breakfast - it was just the room or half board.

Booked a suite the room was so dirty Sunloungers needed a good clean on the balcony Everything was a mess
