The staff are nice and friendly. The pool is well maintained.

The site would have been nice about 15 years ago but the restaurant/ bar has been shut down and the houses are shabby. Some mattresses need updating, my daughter was covered in bed bug bites from the mattress of the top bunk in number 9. Luckily we had a spare bed to move her to and then was fine. Needs air con or fans. Frying pan missing a handle and no cleaning products provided except washing up liquid and one dishwasher tablet. Generally very basic. No free Wi-Fi. The pool is nice but small but there’s managed bee hives near by and so the bees came to the pool in a heat wave and hundreds came to our patio area after we went swimming for the water on our clothes. The bees need a water source nearby in order to not bother the residents. Two of our children were stung at the pool. The play park is large by the lake but a bit shabby. Most of the lake activities are for older children. The snack/ drinks bar opens at 2pm. There are teenagers staying on a ‘camp’ mostly unsupervised and they were alright but a little more consideration to young children would have been nice around the pool.

the swimming pool looked new and nicely maintained, the rooms was large enough for our large family. the kitchen could had been slightly better in regards to the layout, but overall was nice.

Very welcoming & helpful. Quite & peaceful surroundings with lake nearby. Comfortable Mobile home. You do need a t towel & maybe another towel as only provided with 1 each & not very big.

Having to clean before we left otherwise a charge would have been incurred.

Good facilities, rude staff.

Rude staff. We arrived at night due to delays in Eurotunnel and couldn't find the house, we had no choice but call them for help, a lady on a golf car came to IMPATIENTLY show us the way, not even stopping to greet us.

We stayed for 2 nights, the house had everything we needed and beds were comfy we all slept well. The kitchen has everything you would require for cooking, and the bathroom had been remodelled. Staff was pleasant and we had a very nice welcome. Kids enjoyed the pool and we also went to the lake.

I understand the houses will be remodelled but the floor needs changing and it was not too clean when we got there. I would stay again if we were to come by though.

We stopped here for 1 night enroute to Spain and we're so glad we did! Lovely little bungalow, super clean, spacious and well equipped. Lovely area to sit outside (the stars are incredible) and it's dog friendly too. So much better than a motorway motel! The pool area is lovely and staff at reception are extremely pleasant and friendly.

The shower is a bit weak but there was plenty of hot water.

.+ quiet and calm place (during our stay but YMMV as it could be busy during summertime) - views of the stars and milkyway after sunset and before moonrise was breathtaking;+ nice walks around the lake;+ pool, if you are into this (we're not);+ good price for longer stays (but description on booking com might need updating - we only paid tourist tax, no deposit or cleaning fee);

.- road quality around is not the best;- only paid wifi, not free as advertised;- terribly unstable 3G if you don't agree to pay;- gas smell throughout the mobile house;- gas powered boiler (directly heating) supplying hot water, with the flame often dying twice per showering. Might be pleasant in 40°C but certainly not in 22;- not a big effort made to keep the place clean;- questionable condition of outdoor stairs and veranda, it's not falling apart (yet) but gives that unpleasant feeling of instability under your feet, stairs are awry and squeaking...- there's only little space around the double bed, which was not too comfortable either, as sprung mattress was put on a bed slat with far spaced spruces;- very tiny toilet with an always falling cover;

A beautiful place. my families and friends enjoyed the our time there. we recommend this place because our time were so excited with the activities I think so we will be back
