Hotel Brauhaus Wittenberg

This unique hotel is perfectly located near everything you need and want. Parking is conveniently close. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Really enjoyed our stay.

This is not a complaint but people should know there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. The only thing I could whine about is the pillows were not great.

Loved the location right in the middle of the old town. Loved the restaurant and the food was excellent. Overall a great stay! Parking was convenient right next door.

Can't really think of anything we didn't like.

The building is beautiful the room spacious. Anya the breakfast girl was extraordinary, most helpful.

Great place to stay in the old town, we really liked that they had free parking out the back. Would suggest adding a kettle in the rooms for basic tea and coffee making.

Great central location. Restaurant behind the hotel was really good with friendly staff and hearty meals with local seasonal ingredients. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice view over the courtyard to the church from the window.

Rather indifferent reception staff. Not a great welcome. Strange long dark corridors to get to the room. Early check out.

Reception area is too far and going up and down with the suitcase without elevators was hard~ lots of steps

Friendly and helpful staff. Very pleasant and comfortable room. The hotel is right in the centre of Wittenberg and a five minute walk from the Aldstadt train station (the Hauptbahnhof is a good 10-15 minute walk). Breakfast is a good and varied selection. The attached Brauhaus has a very pleasant courtyard and serves excellent beers and hearty meals.

As it is a historic building there is no lift and quite a lot of stairs.

The day before arrival I was informered that there are stares and no elevator. Noone to take care of the luggage. Very impersonal. At the reception there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The room was small and crowded.

Absolutely perfect old city center location.

It's no joke about the stairs...we had family that really struggled with the multi-level/multiple stairs set up. Don't recommend it for those with ambulation issues. You HAVE to be able to get up multiple flights of stairs with luggage. In the heat of the summer, lack of aircon was a challenge even with fans which were provided. The mattresses were more like camp mattresses.

Excellent location. Very near train station and various sightseeing locations.

The restaurant served excellent food, but it closes around 8 pm, so go early.

The bed was not too comfortable. The room was pretty warm in July with only a tabletop fan. This is not unusual in Europe, but uncomfortable.

Nothing we didn't like.

The staffs are so nice and helpful, especially for me whom can't speak Germany. The room is clean and tidy. The location is near to the shops and restaurants, and especially to the All Saint's Church or Schlosskirche (Lutherstadt Wittenberg). The building is also so historical.

for tourists, it's a prime location. Easily walkable from the small train station of Lu. Wittenberg Altstadt. my room was facing the inner courtyard as requested during the booking process, so it was quiet. room was clean but old-fashioned and with an ugly office-style carpet, bathroom large and good

very limited opening hours of the reception. Check in starts at 15.00 hrs , but check-out is extremely early until 10.30 hrs only. Never had such thing anywhere in Germany at a regular hotel. Not customer-friendly at all. No fridge in the room, no AC (well, it's an old historical building). very small TV set. I wasn't there for tourism, I just needed a place to sleep that doesn't break the bank. Value for money wasn't great
