Pros +
- The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!
- The location was okay to enjoy the sights in Wittenberg despite being at the far end of the street
- We were on a street-facing room upstairs. The room is very basic but has everything you need. There is no air conditioning but we were visiting in the fall so none was needed. There is a stand fan in the room if needed. The room had a fridge and a few options to create a mini-bar and snacks. The location is superb situated between Luther and Malancthon's homes. Any basic spaces in the room was made up with the nice hot shower with great water pressure and the breakfast. Several warm and cold protein choices, fruit juices and whole fruits, and they even warmed up gluten free rolls for me!
Cons -
- Nope. All was great!
- The staff was not very helpful and the lounge service was awful.
- As a large family, we seemed out of place—like we weren’t their target clientele. Far less accommodation to English speaking than we were expecting—not necessarily tarting international travelers.

Great location... Wonderful and helpful staff. Exceptional German/international breakfast.
Location was perfect, but if you arrive at night, they have no light sign, very hard to find. We had to pay $16 per night for parking. The restaurant was pretty, the rooms had no air conditioning, it was accessible for wheelchairs.
Convenient and right in the town center. Train station in walking distance.
Central location in a small, sweet town. Hotel was quiet. Umbrellas to borrow when it was pouring rain.

Pleasant and helpful staff in breakfast room. Decent breakfast. Location between the train station and the main street attractions
If they had A/C I didn't notice it. Warm room even with windows open at night.
Very clean, comfy bed, friendly staff, great value for money and great food
The shower curtain. Don't get me wrong, it was clean!! But in a hotel of this level, a shower curtain feels like a cheap solution
Nice elegant hotel, spacious room. Excellent location within the city centre. Spacious underground garage.Very good breakfast.
Hotel was clean in a good location. There was no noise from neighborhood. The receptionist was nice.
We booked 35 m room with Queen size bed. We had small 18 m room with normal bed. When I asked the receptionist, she told us we got what we booked. Normally there is 2 single beds. More willingness to switch the room from the hotel staff would be nice when the hotel was not full. This attitude is not correct. It was business trip and we needed to work in the room, which was quite small. For one night it was ok, for more nights too small.
The entrance was nice. Everything was clean. Restaurant service was very nice.
The room hardly decorated and a bit cold. No music in the restaurant ( for a Valentine’s dinner) and the food was mediocre. Breakfast was OK .We expected more from a 4 Star Hotel.
Great location/ lovely town/ nice hotel/great breakfast
Dinner selection was limited, and overall poor quality
Excellent location and friendly stuff.
Breakfast was disappointing but appeared promising.
Perfect location. Very comfortable and very helpful and friendly personnel.
We arrived at almost 10pm and they stayed on to make us dinner and the water was extremely friendly and helpful
Very convenient. Lovely friendly and very helpful receptionist for rather late arrival. A good breakfast German-style!
I liked everything
The hotel is very well located at the start of the historic district. The room had a mini bar and windows that open. I didnt see any ac but a fan was there. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Bicycle storage was in secured garage.
The room had an odd odor to it, I opened the windows immediately and it was resolved eventually. The bathroom had no ventilation.
Excellent location for the old town.a decent sized room.plenty of choice for breakfast.underground parking.
Air conditioning wasn't brilliant and didn't really cool all of the room.
It has a great location. Right on the Elbe River route. Has a very secure place for bicycles. The room is very spacious.
The restaurant could have more vegetarian options.
